Seeing how he busted his arse into playing shape and was a really good player last year I’m not going to call him lazy.
You do realize he came back overweight again right?

The recent outbreak of our o-line probably broke the last straw. The big heavys are more susceptible to virus

LSU helped Shelvin big time, they probably should have turned their back on him because he really didn't want to grow up...I remember the excuses why he wasn't playing or even at practice

and sir, 6% of "the Covid death numbers" are from Covid

the rest are from actual illnesses these people already had when they got Covid

This isn’t about Covid. LOL

14 teammates drafted last year, some that went high without any preseason hype

This is strictly convenient. Headed the way of basketball, a sport at LSU that can barely cover its expenses

This will end very problematic for CFB when it’s all said and done.

It's not necessarily a binary question. There are varying levels of concern. Circumstances change.

fricking cop out is what it is. I’d love to hear about all the players that caught it and died. You know, because that would be a reason to opt out. I’m so tired of all this over-reaction bs

He wasn’t eligible, or he would have left after last season.

Motivation has been an issue with this kid going back to high school

Bad investment, IMO

Is he gonna lock himself in his house until it’s eradicated?

A pandemic doesn’t care if you’re playing football or not..

What’s changed? Nothing has, including his risk.

Really gonna miss seeing Mr. Shelvin out on the field this year. He was so integral last year - this is gonna hurt.

I mean If you go to the Poli board the experts there will let you know you’re fine if you’re not a big fat guy.

Actually, he WAS eligible to enter the draft after last season as a 3rd year sophomore.

Daddy needs to say this because LSU barely got this kid in school and barely kept him in school.

He almost ate his way off the LSU team and will be 400 lbs in the NFL at some point or will have a weight clause in his contract that he will not be able to do.
