He cares more about the process tha the results of the process. It’s what makes him great.

Saban’s problem is he dwells in the land of Gumps.

He's addicted to success, so when he's not successful or if someone insinuates he's not successful, or when you do something to affect his success, or when he thinks you may be thinking that he may not be successful.....you get the point....he's like a meth head who doesn't know when the next high is coming...

It was that terrible light show they did against Tenn. That is some weak AAC type shite and he knows it.

Saban is a perfectionist to a degree that has made him the best coach in college football history. A guy like that not going to have much in the way of a personality. Les had a ton of personality and we fired him because he couldn’t beat the perfectionist.

That’s just stupidity right there

Those of you that hate him hate him because he wasn’t as good as Saban, who is the GOAT. If Saban stays in the NFL. Miles has at a bare minimum 1 and possibly 2-3 more National Titles

I would agree. After Bluegrass miracle he felt bad for Kentucky because he knew they outplayed LSU. He sheepishly accepted the W

Probably the way last years ended and this year is progressing. Bama’s success has been to build on itself and there have been some definitive hurdles lately

I think this is it, absolutely. He has a proven process, and it must be very frustrating to him if he feels his team isn't doing what they need to do for the process to work as it should.

Add to this the fact that his team hasn't been tested by another very good team so far this season--and that, the first time this year they will be tested is versus a team that is a top 3 team themselves--and I can understand his frustration.

No. CLM’s biggest sin is not adjusting to the game when he needed to.

Switching to the spread in ‘07? Visionary.

Switching to a 22 personnel in ‘13? Regressive.

Miles finally has some offense at Kansas. He opened things up and went with a far more dynamic approach. If he’d done that at LSU in 2014, he’s probably still the head coach with another NC or two to show for it.

He wanted to go out on top but that ain't gonna happen and he knows it. He is a control freak and this is not going according to plan. Bobby Bowden goodbye from Bama incoming...
All good things must end Nickie..glad your former employer will help that happen this year. GEAUX!!!

No matter how stupid the question, character is built around how you treat people with respect. He is a great coach but is not a great person.
