We should put our backups in tomorrow. I'm not sure LSU has enough arms to finish the tournament or want to stretch their pitchers that hard.

LSU isn't going to face anybody like Stanek in the tournament who has pitched against them enough to know all their tendencies. Arky had to have this game after their disappointing regular season to have a chance at hosting. LSU is in an enviable position, and PM made the right call to rest Nola here. It would be nice to pick up some wins in this tournament but it really makes no difference except to some of the people emerging from the wood works.
