Let's see how much SEC's tv deal would get amended and then see what the other schools say about this. The LSU brand is a big deal for the SEC.

Disney signed a deal for a 16 team leauge and the mouse is getting what it paid for. The SEC is cutting a check to Disney if this happens.

Regardless of what happens over the next few days I think the odds of the SEC surviving this are slim.
I know this is in no way similar, but this reminds me of the end of the Southwest Conference.

LSU is basically the premier athletic program of the conference ironically with all this going on.
LSU has success in football, baseball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, and track and field. No other SEC program is on that level.
