Because there is neither "for cause" nor "due process" language associated with any of it. It is the most bizarre business arrangement I've ever seen or heard of.

People think this is being driven by Sankey. It isn't. It is being driven by Plowman. She assuredly is the "SEC stakeholder" leaking to the press that some "punishment" must be meted. She is also essentially Sankey's boss for the next year during her term as SEC Executive Committee President.

She apparently feels entitled to act on emotion, without need for fact, or opportunity for rebuttal. Until someone slaps this woman back into a state of consciousness, she intends to push the nuclear button. She also seems to lack any regard for the fact Axon left her exposed to the Louisiana injunction.

I suppose Jorden would enjoin the SEC to counter her actions, but that really is not enough. Hopefully, cooler heads will prevail, but this woman is out of control crazy. She would rather blow up the league and get her way, then admit she's a loon and out of line.
