Yeah everyone who disagrees with you is a libtard. Nice try Jeff.

Honestly, I would prefer no response.

That’s basically the perfect response while saying absolutely nothing.

Makes little sense, but whatever you say, sport.

Now a response from Landry, refers to the team as 'girl's' basketball and not 'women's' basketball.

It would be kind of dumb for Woodward to escalate the issue. Seriously, the more they attack Mulkey, the more I like her... Those UL Lafayette govenors tend to punish LSU via the budget. Blanco did it, now Landry will probably do it.

Good job, Scott! Landry has Jindal Syndrome and thinks he has a shot at president or something. Nobody is going to elect someone for national office with that god-awful accent he has, not to mention is lack of real policies or accomplishments. He's a fricking moron. frick that slimy cocksucker.

I'd be fine if the statement stopped after the first two sentences. The rest of the statement can be interpreted as saying the current processes fall short of the goal of "striving to represent ideals, etc."

Landry is Scott's indirect boss

Both are state employees. One makes $130,000 per year, the other makes $1,300,000 per year.

Governors come and go, LSU sports are forever. You’d have to be an idiot to come out against LSU sports.

This is about traditions…

You have to break a 50 year pre-game tradition to keep the football team from ‘disrespecting’ the anthem and staying in the chute while Tiger Band plays the anthem.

Keep in mind that the LSU marching band has been playing in Tiger Stadium since before there ever was a national anthem.

So Landry needs the last word.. let’s push politics and make it LSU against the rest..

“BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry is now calling on the NCAA to ensure that college athletes stand for the national anthem during this weekend’s Final Four tournament.”

Damn it Landry, you buffoon. This isn’t a winning position nationally in that this push accomplishes nothing.

But the Landry boy gets to go on Fox news and defend the flag!!1!

He’s clearly eschewing Louisianans and trying to make a national name for himself.

Politicians gonna politic.

What's most frustrating is this whole thing was NEVER about disrespecting the Anthem. Now, it's been turned into something it never was. It's just game prep and with LSU football, for example, tradition. The Anthem before the football games is celebrated. That doesn't mean the teams have to be on the field.
