Exactly right. Woodward is just the whipping boy for the boosters. Get me the best coach falls apart when the best available is dogshit.

Outside of the south and some of the west coast…no one gives 2 shits about college baseball.

And to be completely and brutally honest it’s a shite product until the super regionals come around outside of a few conference match ups a season.

It’s great that LSU is good in sports like baseball, women’s basketball, gymnastics, etc etc. but in the grand scheme of things it means nothing.

I’ve already explained it to you in my thread , but since you brought it here I will answer it again FOR YOU!
As I’ve already told your dumbass , that decision on my part would require a lot more thought than Woodward obviously put into it. I also told you (even though you have remedial reading comprehension) that I would not have paid 100 million on a 10 year contract to a coach that had never won a playoff game or NY6 bowl. That kind of contract and money is reserved for coaches that meet that criteria.

Exactly, you have no answer. You just want to bitch and complain and insult people. If YOU had any comprehension, you would have seen me write that you weren't going to get a coach with your qualifications at anything less than what they paid Kelly. Get over yourself.

But he missed on his first football coach so he doesnt get another shot. Am I doing this right?

Basically yes; because you cannot make a mistake on the football coach hire at LSU. He was right to let O go, BK was not a bad hire at the time, but it turned to poo. Now if Woodward was smart, he would embrace the committee and governor publicly on this and say, its just to important to not get right.

He lost the right to make the final decision on the next football coach with the BK hire and how it turned out.

The only successful football coaches he hired that worked out was when he was back at Washington.

When it comes to the money making sports hes really failed at hiring and ran men's basketball into the ground.

He’s currently fat, and that’s unacceptable. Win another natty and he’ll magically lose all the weight.

Now do how much money those moves cost..

Cost whom?

You? Nope.

LSU? Nope.

Big donors bore the cost, and they will do so again.

Why can't you simpleton mouthbreathers get this through your skulls?

The only two hires that mattered he fricked up royally

Which two? Because Baseball was a damn good hire and that is a far more successful sport at LSU than any other sport other than Football.

Political views have nothing to do with this.

Then he shouldn’t have taken political stands with LSU athletics

LSU athletics has taken visible stands on BLM etc under Woodward

I like Scott. In 2021 Kelly looked like a good hire.

Regardless, he does not deserve this clown show by Landry.

I didn't say it generated more $$. I said it was more successful. 8 Championships to 0 for mens basketball.

So again Baseball is a more successful sport.

He was pretty strapped with that. Wade f’d that up. Not Scott. Scott had to protect everything including football. Scott has made some great hires and he made one that didn’t work out. Landry is trying to be Heuy Long. He needs to stay in his lane.

BK wasnt a royal frick up. Although the seasons have been under LSU failures theyve been good. SECG game, and 6-2, 5-3 conference records. LSU has been relevant and didnt fall off the wagon like florida, auburn, ou
