he did the same thing to the frogs. my dad is still angry enough about to this day that anytime aggy or UT comes up in conversation I know exactly where it’s going to go

If we did not have CJJ I’d take Vitello in a heartbeat.

None of you scumbags know Schlossnagle. He really really really wanted the LSU job in 2022, but Woodward was infatuated with O'Sullivan that week. So Schloss took the A&M job. He felt his time at TCU was done. He had taken them to five College World Series. His marriage had fallen apart. TCU had a new AD. It was time to get out of Fort Worth.

Every one of you would have taken the Texas job over the Aggies if it was offered. That's all Schlossnagle is guilty of. The Texas AD had been his AD at TCU. Again, I don't blame him.

He doesn't do douchey things on the field the way Vitello does. He seems about as calm in the dugout as . . . well . . . Paul Mainieri.

Vitello is a creepy guy, plain and simple. His schtick will wear thin at Tennessee eventually.

He’s a douche, but baseball tends to produce the douchiest of the douches. And I say that as someone who loves baseball and watches as often as I can.

I dont think his schtick will wear thin there
3 years ago, easily vitello was worse. Headbutting umps, throwing bats, etc

But he has mellowed a bit the last couple years. I dont really get the hate for schloss. He followed an AD around. He is a good coach. Taking numerous teams to omaha. Can prob add texas to that list in the next couple years. Dont know him personally though.

If punchable faces were currency, Vitello would be Elon pre-heil salute.

No, I would not have made it all about me when my team is a win away from its first national championship.

Schloss is a swinger. I’ve also heard from people that know him that he’s a dirtbag.

Schloss is just a whiny bitch with no hardware. Fits right in at Texas.

Whiny bitch no doubt but he can coach. He had TCU and A&M very relevant. Texas has more potential than even A&M as they have history on their side. It’s not something the programs trying to do for the first time ever.

He had several run ins with umpires and other coaches like DVH and Corbin (both of whom are assholes too). The way his 2022 team acted. His ‘23 and ‘24 teams seemed to do their talking with their play on the field. Tony seems to have matured a ton since his first few years. These days he goes out of his way to complement other programs, players, and coaches. I think everyone’s first impression of him was the 2022 team and that wasn’t a good one.

This was a point I made before. He’s really not that bad, but the 22’ season created a reputation that he has not lived up to. I also think people wouldn’t hate his as much if they were bad.

I don’t mind Vitello and actually like him. But I don’t get offended when opponents talk shite like many people on here, I like that as well. I also recognize that’s he is a douchebag but 70% of people involved in college baseball are douchebags, including people at LSU.

I think Vitello looks better in a hat than Schloss. But if you mean which one would be easiest for one of us to put a hat on, I’d say Schloss.
