Yet he's sitting this week completely out of practice and MVB is taking first team reps. Kelly also confirmed he's "on the back end" of his ab strain injury.

He’s obviously resting because he’s lazy and unmotivated. Not because he’s hurt.

There’s none, it’s just like the BS narratives that were put out about Perkins refusing to play Star last year and the year before. As soon as his production dropped off people started attacking him personally and tried to push that he had an attitude problem.

Proof is in the pudding as they say. 5th year QB still throwing picks into triple coverage and missing simple reads.

true but the defender had Hilton’s arm pinned behind his back

He has alluded to this on a few occasions as far back as last season if my memory serves me correctly.

All of this is rumor buts it’s not the first time this subject has been brought up through his tenure as the starting QB.

I think Hilton had own arm extended trying to create space. But it was a perfect breadbasket throw he could have just caught in stride.

You say I hate Nuss and won’t even let me compliment him. I’m not sure what is preventing you from being objective here.

I think most can see that it is this. He just makes dumb plays that high IQ quarterbacks don't make. It's not a new phenomenon with him, it's just gotten worse instead of better like we hoped.

You aren’t trying to compliment him. You’re using an underrhrown deep ball that Hilton didn’t catch to try and push your narrative that Nuss isn’t hurt.

Calling that throw “perfect” is as disingenuous as it gets.

Come on...I seem to recall the defense choking after Nuss brought us down to tie the game...

TIFWIW…… Scarborough said:

Nuss isn’t hurt and hasn’t been for weeks.

Nuss did not put in 30% of the work that Burrow and Daniels did between their Junior and Senior years. They’re not looking around to see if a coach is watching them and then exert themselves in conditioning drills.

The problem is between his ears and being unprepared.

Nuss didn’t use the VR system that made JD5 have that huge jump not even 10% of what JD5 did. What he is working on this week is “mental” and is having to put in his VR work this week.

Said Nuss’ body looks like he hasn’t worked out in years.

Decision making has been horrendous. It’s time to stop coddling him and pull him when he makes a boneheaded decision. He makes a couple of million, makes commercials and is a pro worthy of the same ridicule that you’d give any player on the Saints. If he’s that soft, he’s in the wrong game.

Long story short, Nuss was roasted. Said all of it was justified and Nuss absolutely did not put in the work.

If the story is true, it's not something that can be fixed during the season. That type of study and advancement has to be done over time.

It's already too late.

I just watched it again, it was an effortless throw on a 3 step drop, without any extra load-up, that traveled 47yds in the air. And yes, the pass was perfect. You are 100% wrong.

Let’s pretend any of this is true…

How does Brian Kelly allow any of the laziness or unpreparedness? How?

Laziness is a very strong word.

If the guy shows up to every meeting and every practice but just didn't put in all of the extra time that Burrow and JD has, what do you want Kelly to do?

I've already watched it. 47 yards isn't a lot Lester. He also had 18 more yards of space to lay it over and give Hilton more room, but he had to slow down, bend to the outside and fight off a defender to make the play. It was not perfect, it was under thrown. Not drastically like all of his other deep balls, but it was 100% without question not laid out deep enough.

He has yet to throw a single deep ball that his receiver can run under this season. Every single one of them has been under thrown. Every one.

You are the one saying he couldn’t throw it 45yds earlier in the game cause he was hurt

No shite it’s not a lot.

It’s not Nuss’ fault Hilton can’t track a ball. The throw was perfect, it hit him right in the hand, in stride. Hilton had no reason to be hand fighting.

You sound like Madking right now. I’m just waiting for you to call me a liar
