Pain tolerance. Look it up. He can let it go if he’s wants to, but he clearly doesn’t every time. He lets them float when he thinks he can get away with it. Again, pain tolerance, brush up on how that works
So is a wide open TD (the only play that keeps being cited) the time to throttle a throw down due to pain tolerance? That only needed an easy 45yd throw to complete the pass? Like, wut.

You’re the one who keeps talking about how he can “rip it when he wants”. So please, do explain how he set his feet and gave it everything he had for it to be a duck that went about 45 yards total.
Just incase you need a calculator, 45 yards is quite a bit more than 25 yards. Almost like he can gut it out for a 25 yarder when he really needs it but the farther he has to throw it the worse it gets. Weird, I know.

While we're starting rumors; how does your starting RT go out with a broken nose and concussion 30 minutes before kickoff?
Did he get into a fight or something?

Nuss punched him for not being able to block.
Punch caused him to reinjure his oblique.
Heard that from person who said Jefferson was at casino on that dreadful day 1/9/12

Got engaged in off season so how much time has he really put in training for football and not marriage.
Well he's costing himself a very comfortable NFL life vs selling insurance in BR if he doesn't get his shite together.

I just dont understand why we wouldve given the #18 to someone who "absolutely did not put in the work"
Seems like that goes against everything the number exemplifies

Unleashing a line drive throw 25yds and floating a throw 45yds is not all that different in terms of effort & force.
He made the same throw perfectly fine later in the game lol.

probably the same way LSU sent Hilton to SEC Media Days. Hilton had a few decent games last year, but that's about it. They probably hoping that would motivate him. Should have sent Aaron Anderson. Anderson deserved it.

How does Brian Kelly allow any of the laziness or unpreparedness? How?
His choice of Strength and Conditioning Coach is in charge of conditioning.
No push by his linemen has been consistent since BK took charge.
Injuries have been consistent as well.

Except he didn’t need to “float it” 45 yards. He needed it to go about 55 and he just couldn’t get it there.

Please tell me you’re talking about to ball to Hilton in the 4th. Because that also went about 45 yards total (he couldn’t even get it to the end zone from the 50.
Hilton should have caught it but it still was still underthrown. Another 5 yards and Hilton walks in without having to adjust. Nuss also read that one and let it go while the defender Was still over the top of Hilton. That’s a throw he wants to put it as deep as possible to let Hilton outrun the DB to and he barely got it to the 5 yard line.
Keep making shite up though Lester.

Nobody wants to debate whether Scarborough is right or not, but would rather just assume he IS correct because it is too lazy and convenient to think otherwise.
And it fits their own narrative

Nuss didn’t use the VR system that made JD5 have that huge jump not even 10% of what JD5 did. What he is working on this week is “mental” and is having to put in his VR work this week.
^^^^^
THIS!!!!!!
I’ve been asking this question since last season. Have not heard an answer as to if/why the VR system is not being utilized.

50 would have sufficed. But then again he is not accurate with the deep ball to begin with

Yap. It was right where it needed to be with ease. You want to selectively declare when he looks injured, and it seems to be only when he looks bad.

Do other teams also have designated numbers like that or is it just us?

It was not right where it needed to be and it was not with ease. Use your eyeballs Lester.

You aren’t selectively declaring that he looks fine? You’re using 3 throws out of 34 in one game to make your stance.
Meanwhile, I can point out dozens in each game where he doesn’t look right.
Again, use your eyeballs and common sense Lester.

I believe all that. Nuss’ play makes him look like a borderline mentally retarded individual sometimes. But I don’t believe Nuss is dumb. Being lazy and unprepared is a better explanation.

He did make a good point about Nuss not being injured. Obviously there was playing him against Southeastern, but also the lawsuit with the Brooks situation. You’d think LSU would be extra careful about fricking with injuries.
I think he’s just a bad QB who did no work during the offseason. He had several passes with plenty of zip on them against OM.
He’s just bad. Needs to be benched.

They throw out these accusations about his work ethic, where is the proof?

Scarborough Has been screaming that Nuss isn’t hurt for weeks now. Anyone who says that automatically loses credibility to me.
Yet he's sitting this week completely out of practice and MVB is taking first team reps. Kelly also confirmed he's "on the back end" of his ab strain injury.
So he is hurt.
