Kelly would always have these random outbursts of saying unwarranted things that just weren’t true. It seemed like he couldn’t help himself, very bizarre. But also extremely funny in retrospect.
Blake Ruffino tells a story when they were at practice and Nussmeier finally scrambled (in a setting where he couldn’t get hit) and Joe Sloan looked over to the media and gloated “you like that?!”….

If had the decision to make 4 million dollars and earn myself more money in the next draft because of it i sure would “bleed” purple and gold. Nussmeier came back which is a rare thing to do now but don’t crown him for it. Yes I can’t stand the fact that he flails on the ground after every hit and audibles out of QB runs. It’s hard to watch someone with a lack of talent but even harder to watch someone with a lack of talent and no chest.
Everyday I read this board and it gets worse. How did this stuff not get out? It makes me sick with TAF and the million dollar match that the flagship football program that represents the state of Louisiana was being run this way.

We all knew his arse was cooked then. But even further back I knew it when every win where we looked like trash against inferior opponents his go to was “it’s hard to win in the SEC”. Some idiots thought it was coach speak to take up for his team. I knew he meant it.

Tbh every time I saw a video of him trying to motivate our team… i always thought if I was a player I’d want to fall asleep. Talking about things like “sticking to our traits”. Very cerebral type guy who I never thought could relate to kids, and he was always stealing other coaches mantras. Lol

The most mind boggling shite was hearing him rant and rave about his teams lacking a killer instinct when anyone with a brain knew it was him and his soft arse mentality.
The guy publically berated and embarrassed them in front of the whole world and we now know he was absent when it really mattered. Even when he was there he provided little value to the team. Even if these coaches went above him, Kelly was the problem and not the coaches.

It says impending further down the article. The article itself is misleading. Basically nobody knows shite except there was a meeting.
Yikes he’s gotta go but dang that sucks his final undoing would be a game that fell on his birthday.
This is not the person you want to be THE leader of your team. Nuss is soft as baby shite and shame on BK for whatever deal that locked in this marriage. It’s clear this debacle has been forced this long due to something behind the scenes.
He’s just old and washed up. Even Saban didn’t have the energy or passion to keep up with this new era of ball. Kelly wants a ship to end his career but doesn’t have the effort or the know how to get it done.
