We reached the National Title Game despite our QB play and definitely despite JJ's play. Even if we lose the 1st Bama game we probably still play again for the Title.

Got some broken sarcasm meters on page one. Anyway, I saw a quote on page 183 of Athlon magazine that said the real reason Mett left Georgia was because he threw a football through the head of a Georgia receiver and killed him!

1 was legit. The other wasn't Mett's fault in any way, shape , or form. He hit Edwards in the numbers and stone hands basically threw it in the air 10 feet for the INT.

Haha u cant be serious rt? We would have dropped too far and not have had an seccg to play. No telling how the rest of season wpuld have gone if we lost the first game.

Agreed on both points. I think most realize that Mr Reid was not being literal, as any avid fan realizes that Mettenberger threw one legit pick and one bs pick in the spring game. He meant that the preponderance of the throws met his description. And yes, 3 months till football season is a long time. Thank God for the Omaha run!

Yeah he cant get better as a quarterback im that time, that would be impossible
Also its not the Starting Safteys job to start a petition to get a new starting QB.
