It was common knowledge among football players last year that mett had the best arm on the team. That isn't why he didn't start.

Because undermining the current QBs from within their own locker room would've been such a smart move. Reid knows when to bite his tongue. It would've been inappropriate last year to say that to the media.

I am continually amazed at how many posters on this board are too damn stupid to recognize obvious sarcasm!!! I mean honestly do you have to put a sarcasm emoticon after every obvious sarcastic comment for some people to "get it"?

You think it's "funny" or I guess telling that Reid is talkin' bout a QB who is now the starter/the guy now getting most of the reps when he wasn't "hyping" the same guy when he was 3rd string and getting few reps??
Considering the fact that Reid is seeing a lot more of Mett than ever before, it seems like a normal thing to me.

How much better would Mett have been over Lee in those first 8 games? Lee was #1 in QB rating in SEC after 8 games and had thrown only 1 INT.
