Yes. That has been addressed in this thread already, but I understand that it is hard to read the whole thread before commenting, so no big deal.

1 INT was a bad throw. 1 INT was a tipped-ball situation, which is gonna happen from time to time. Eric Reid was not being literal in this commentary, he was saying that compared to what they had seen in his time at LSU, that Mettenberger was a much-harder to defend passer who tended to make a lot better throws overall. Anyone who watched the Spring game compared to 2010 and 2011 would agree wholeheartedly. No one on the planet knows for sure if this will translate to the field, by definition, but most around the country, conference and especially at LSU would bet a lot of money that a Mettenberger-run offense will be vastly improved in the passing department. If you want to bet on the other side of that bet, make it known, and you will get plenty of takers on such a bet.

The most important thing I saw out of Mett in the spring game was he progression of reads. It is clear that his football IQ is more than both our options last year. He will make the occasional bad throw but has enough talent to make up for it with some amazing throws. Defenses will now have to defend ALL receivers and worry about the ball thrown over their heads.... accurately.

Well-stated.
