I’ll bet you 500 bucks that they go to the playoff.

We had great run scheme. And our Heisman QB and great wideouts had to work for theirs.

Why do folks want to minimize our opponents all the time?

You are Not giving Baker enough credit for what he did to stop a pretty damn good offense, and with a pretty damn good mobile QB and at home nonetheless.

I would pay top dollar to have watched this particular defense play Alabama again from last year.
Results would not be the same.

Clemson will be in the Playoffs and beat Florida State later this year.

Would not be surprised if we play them again.

Don’t think our Dline had anything to do with this?

I just wonder what game some of you watched.

Their run game will get better in a hurry they have two RBs coming back.

Their corners are extremely good, their safeties were very active and did a good job of preventing the deep ball except on the one pass we were robbed on to Brown.

I think both teams just about equally under-performed. LSU is just better by a good bit.

I don’t agree. But no one really knows for sure.

It looked to me that their defense played pretty well. Most of our catches were contested.

It also seemed to me that their offense did make some plays in the passing game but just kept getting disrupted by a very aggressive LSU defense. They couldn’t put together consistent offense. They had a handful of drops, but most were contested. And it wasn’t self inflicted.

I think Clemson lacks truly elite players, other than DL anyways. But they are one of the best coached teams in the country, especially on defense.

Their defense was really sound and always seemed to be in the right spot to prevent big plays.

I think their offense is good but can’t handle elite defenses. Klubnik struggled with pressure and tight coverage.

The biggest problem they have is their QB can't/won't make plays from the pocket.

He relies on his scrambling way too much. That was death vs. LSU.

when compared to stronger teams, yes.

but the ACC is weak (has been for a while, thus their "dominance") so they will be inflated as they have been since 2019

How much better does Labor Day weekend feel with a W? Yet someone finds a reason to complain about something lol.

The biggest thing for me was the feeling that LSU DEFENSE IS BACK

If he had stood in the pocket he would have got beaten up.

They have a starting NFL caliber QB at the helm. They have a talented defense. They have weapons. They have a top 5 coach in CFB. They will be a playoff team. Either way, starting off with a win on the road @ Clemson is tough even if they were unranked. Crazy take.

That OL had 4 Sr’s and one Jr. all with a number of games started.
The OT Blake Miller, has played in over 2,900 snaps and started 42 games. As a line, they are in the top 10 by everyone. Some had them as the second best in the Nation.
