To be fair, the defense has been on the field all game since our offense can’t get a first down.

Gold pack of M&Ms = LSU bound
Jayden Daniels -- One of the best QBs and offenses of the 2000s, but LSU couldn't win anything of importance because Brian Kelly & Co. were incompetent. Team was pretty loaded. You all will blame Matt House (rightfully so), but HCs hire their coordinators.

Tell me more about how players > coaching...
“I think once we have strong leadership in place, that you will see the governor not being so worried about micromanaging this university,” #LSU Presidential hopeful Wade Rousse.

These guy seems like he has a no non-sense attitude. I like that. Maybe some you can calm down now… (I know that won’t happen lol)

If he comes back it’s not for the money. I work in healthcare, and it’s the same reason some of these doctors work until they die. They love the patients and the surgeries. Part of their ego. These 70 year old docs don’t do it for the money. I could see it being the same way for Saban. Aflac and ESPN isn’t the same feeling as winning a natty for a guy like that.

He probably won’t, but you never know.
See, these types of takes make little sense to me. Fire everyone on offensive staff. Hire a whole new staff. LSU is mid again next year. Kelly and staff get bought out and fired. Are you really saving much money after all of that? I can’t imagine you are. Just cut ties now and don’t delay. Take into account the loss of NIL, ticket revenue, etc. by delaying this firing. If he doesn’t make playoffs this year, which he won’t, then he’s gone.

To further this, I’ve never seen a coach in this position turn his tenure around after turning over his staff. This is multiple times at this point (defense, now offense). I’d love a great example if you could provide.
They have a starting NFL caliber QB at the helm. They have a talented defense. They have weapons. They have a top 5 coach in CFB. They will be a playoff team. Either way, starting off with a win on the road @ Clemson is tough even if they were unranked. Crazy take.
Playing that many OL is our thing, Dabo! Stop trying to steal it!

But in all seriousness — at least there is equal amount of panic on both sides. I do think LSU will figure it out. Twitter/X
It’s good luck. I watched LSU v Florida game 1 in 2023 at a wedding. Being a groomsman didn’t stop me, and I was surrounded by a bunch of Aggies…

I missed the top of the 1st. I see now this umpire is calling a MLB strike zone for both sides my God

Not gonna lie, umpire has definitely squeezed him. Or this catcher is good at framing. Geaux Tigers but I’ve been surprised at some of the calls going our way!
Only way to win in NCAA basketball is to recruit some of the one-and-dones. Basketball is much more of an individual sport than baseball and football. Having top-100 players come in can drastically make an immediate effect.
Between Sherman Wilson, Blake Baker, Cortez Hankton, and Corey Raymond I am feeling very confident in a flip. A&M does not have the recruiters to compete with that lineup.

Georgia is a different story. However, I thought this was basically down to LSU vs aTm?

Jimbo Fisher on NIL Deals

Via Pardon My Take: Claims that combined NIL deals across all sports at A&M totaled ~$1 million. I believe him as he has no reason to lie at this point.

I think a lot of these figures said by some are incredibly inflated. Rich people are rich because they’re good with money. They’re not throwing $1 million at 1 recruit that won’t provide that return through advertising.

Take it for what you will, but I believe him. Also, further proof that LSU CAN compete in NIL for you doubters.

He was never that great to begin with. In 2022, he got bailed out by Perkins a lot. The games we lost in 2022 were primarily because they couldn’t get timely stops in various situations.

This year it was just amplified because the talent was lacking.

Gave up:
40 to Tennessee
38 to 8&4
50 to Georgia

And all of those could’ve been worse honestly.
