40 Year Coincidence?

1982 Bear Bryant's last game in Tiger Stadium #11 LSU defeats #8 Alabama 20-10

2022 Nick Saban's last game in Tiger Stadium #10 LSU defeats #6 Alabama 32-31

After the Bear and until Satin got Bama booming in the National Championship rematch LSU was 14-14-1 against Bama.

Could use some deja vous!

You think a 1 point overtime loss is “fat arse”?

That 1982 game was at Legion Field in Birmingham, AL.

So many people with OCD when it comes to Saban. Guy fricks over LSU 20+ years ago, and people still have alters of hate dedicated to Saban. Little Dude figured he was better than LSU, and in many ways he was right. It's time to move on.

Bryant’s last loss to LSU was in 1982, but it was NOT in BR, but at Bama. The score was 20-10 and we could only listen on Radio. ESPN replayed the game and probably had as many watchers as listeners on live radio

How the hell am I the first downvote for this compared to four upvotes?

Saban is out of the game, but he is still in so many folks head.
He could enjoy reading this board for the next couple of seasons.

Because they didn't root for LSU? Do you cheer for Alabama when they're in the playoffs?

A picture is worth 1000 words. Coming off a loss where the Heisman winner was targeted, Louisiana still supported Alabama in the playoffs.

And Florida is still weird.

Fitting, because his last game as LSU coach was also a loss

Love it, his last memory of LSU was getting beat with a 2 point conversion to win. No SECC game either.
