the Board of Supervisors has inherited this problem. They now must act quickly to remove Alexander and Alleva.

That's a good start. Then they should remove themselves.

Too many "political appointments", which usually means "thanks for the campaign contributions". Nothing that actually qualifies these clowns to be running a university.

you don't necessarily have to have LSU ties. That's the way management becomes insular, and it's bad for the organization. Most often, fresh thoughts from the outside are a good thing, even if those folks don't talk like us.

And this applies to any organization, not just the LSU administration.

He gave additional examples.

Why don’t you give examples of Alleva and F King’s accomplishments? You seem to be the rants chief apologist for them.

This thread is about a very powerful, well-connected person calling for the removal of F King and Alleva.

Your obvious attempts to derail threads by shitting in them everywhere are getting old.

I dont admire their body of work. But they've handled this as best they could have.

Never heard of Richard Lipsey

Google him. He has quite a resume.

His editorial is excellent and is a balanced view of the overall situation at LSU. He is pure LSU, through and through and understand that LSU is much bigger than athletics.
No one can argue with the idea that King and Alleva should go after reading that opinion piece.

The problem isn’t solely Jindal or JB Edwards, it’s both. As soon as people start blaming one or the other, then people from that side of the political aisle rush in the defend them.

The problem is both of them. Jindal’s sencond term was a disaster for LSU. John Bel’s term and appointments have compounded those problems.

LSU is approaching a decade with rotten leadership throughout the institution.

I’m sure you’d put out some really hot takes in response with your brilliant critical thinking skills. Not sure what to tell you if that’s all you took from his article. Why don’t you just go back to blowing spit bubbles and leave the important issues to people with higher-than-100 IQ’s

All part of the BOS plan.
Dem's want their people in place.
We need change, I hope it's for the good.

Lesson regarding LSU, firing coached etc, doesn't necessarily mean better.

They better hurry. The election is coming up in October. They might not get a chance after.

Skip Bertman doesn't know what day it is.

Lipsey at least seems somewhat cognizant for an 85 year old
