How many redshirt freshman are there who had to "come back" to BR? It wouldn't be that difficult for the coaches to figure it out particularly with your info on the player and the roommate who couldn't go home due to Ida.
You didn't answer my question on whether the player told you it was okay to broadcast his text to you on Tigerdroppings. I suspect this player wasn't expecting you to publicize what he told you.

Is he going to overhaul the way he conducts practice today? He flat-out said in the presser that he thought they had addressed all of the busts in camp and practice, but all the same mistakes from last year were on display again. If guys like Clark, Harris and Toles looked tremendously improved in practice and then laid that egg on the field, his practices aren’t worth a damn. How will we fix the problems when practice doesn’t even reveal that they exist?
