That was a very unprofessional segment by rece Davis.

He literally didn't understand the point pollack was making

Not really

That crew was crazy loyal to Coach Miles

He is very good to them and vice versa

I think that speaks to the character of Coach Miles

I think it's less than 50%...closer to 30%. No rational, thinking person could possibly think this hire is a sustainable model.

What happens when the coordinators leave this year or the next?

We hired a head coach that promised in his interview he wouldn't coach offense or defense. Think about that.

Alleva should have been fired on the spot.

Ed Orgeron doesn't have a resume that would warrant an interview for the LSU job, much less actually being hired for it

When you claim to be a top 10 program and then go hire your head coach from the Clearance rack, yeah most intelligent people aren't going to take you serious.

I agree here.

Not really
I do not agree.

Rece for whatever reason got clearly upset in that segment. It was more than just not agreeing with Pollack. It was not very professional.

I support LSU and by that I support "O" even though at the time I didn't agree with the hire and the timing of it. This leadership structure can work as it has worked at Clemson. That being said, will it work here? That is the million dollar question.

hey yall remember when Ed couldn't even get a call back for the Syracuse job??

There probably isn't another school in the power 5 that would have made him a head coach.

And while I hope he does well, I'm not expecting him to at all

Has anyone noticed, or thought about, when Orgeron was interim at the all mighty USC a few years ago, ESPN make a huge production of how USC was wrong for not hiring him as THE coach?? They raved about how influential he was in inspiring that team & winning?? I thought I remember them making a big deal out of it. But....when LSU hires the same guy, it's the "wrong hire", "what was LSU thinking", "boy, LSU will be lucky to win 8 games."
If you don't think there's a West Coast bias, & that ESPN nitpiks on LSU, then I don't know how else to convince you.
