Look, I make good money. I would never even consider trying to make all these game. They need at least one more round on campus. The bowl system is no longer designed for fans. Look at the attendance of all bowl games. Not just tickets of the game itself, but transportation, food and lodging.

I'd figure out a way to make the natty.

I could do all of it, but it would be irresponsible. Kids in private school, wife doesn't work, etc.

It's going to turn into the Super Bowl. Largely corporate tickets and very wealthy people.

I did the 2 games for the 2019 team. That’s was pricey for 2 people. No way I would spend money on 4 games.

No. It’s why these games need to be played on campus until the semi finals.

Teams aren’t going to be worried about the bye anymore since they’re 1-7 and those 5-8 are generating millions for on campus games.

16 teams with 8 home games would be awesome. And screw the G5, just use the BCS rankings with P4 conference champ qualifiers.

It hasn't been about fans for a long time.
Fans are buying tickets. Heck, the schools don't even want fans, the only people affording these runs are businesses. Why do you think TS is empty ?

The playoff games ticket cost usually isn't too bad. The tickets for the championship is where you'll spend all your money. If you buy those on the secondary market, you're looking at $8-10,000 for a family of 4.

The bowl game rounds should be split up regionally.

I’m by no means rich, but what I shelled out for the 2019 run was a lot and it was some of the best memories I’ve ever had, more so than 2003 and 2007 (I was in Iraq for 2011, so I couldn’t make it). So I’m probably hopping on the playoff train when we make it next time too.

I could - I told my wife when we got married LSU sports is a huge part of my life and that if we got married that is one area I would not compromise - she understood that and has always allowed me that indulgence with minimal if any complaint.

And financially I can definitely afford it, I have no children so things like this is what I spend my money on instead.

But at my age now I just probably would not do every game.....one maybe two. 20 years ago I'd make them all and not even blink.

Tickets are a non factor in the grand scheme of it all, other than maybe the title game.

I've had sugar bowl tickets for several years including the last three. With the exception of last night, I've gotten in for under $150 every time. More than once for under $100, and one time for $32. If you're willing to wait till game day to purchase, it's the same every year.

Ole Miss fans made it difficult due to being fairly close to New Orleans, and for being in a. Once or twice in a lifetime opportunity. Tickets were still less than $250.

Could I or would I?

My goal is to make one game a year in Baton Rouge and if they go to the peach bowl or the orange bowl, I will do that. I don’t really wanna be in New Orleans on New Year’s anymore. I have done that enough in my life.

And then I still try to go to Italy once a year— so I’m probably not showing out 10 K for the college football playoffs.

Quarterfinals and even semi-finals at a neutral site are a joke. The Tx Tech/Oregon Orange Bowl had a ton of empty seats in the upper deck of a 65K seat stadium. The Cotton Bowl and Rose Bowl had seats available as well. The Sugar Bowl sold out only because it was two SEC teams within driving distance.

Hell even the two Semi games have a ton of seats on the secondary market, granted at $200 minimum, but I wouldn't be surprised if Ole Miss and Miami don't sell out as its their teams 3 game of the playoffs.

Even with the NFL, if say New England and Houston were playing a divisional round playoff game in Miami, no way in hell would it be a sellout.

The Super Bowl is in a league of its own, but other than the NCAA tournament or CWS where you travel with the chance of seeing multiple games over a weekend/week, neutral site post season games are ignorant money grabs that frickover the fanbases.
