First time I saw Howard play, I couldn't believe how small he looked. Too small for an SEC QB IMO. I personally thought he was overrated coming out of high school...

If Howard transferred because of the QB room, regardless of who is in it, then he didn’t want to face tough competition to earn playing time. I wanted him to be a Tiger but he didn’t want to be in this situation. This has nothing to do with JD, Nuss, or Collins. This is solely on Howard.

What a dumbass post. People need to let the whole QB controversy die. Hopefully JD comes out and wins us a bunch of games again. But if you have listened to BK talk you have heard him say that JD is our starter but there isn’t much of a gap between him and Nuss. JD’s leash will be shorter this year if he puts an Auburn performance out there. It’s a no lose situation for us. We have two capable QB’s and the team around them has only gotten stronger.

so going into 2024 Howard will be competing for the job.
Would have been the exact same here. Except here, Howard would have been competing against a guy with far less playing experience then he will at ole miss

I’m pro JD. Wanted him to stay. Wanted him to be the starter over Nuss and Howard. But I was disappointed when Howard left and I still wish Howard was here. Don’t know what else to tell you ma baw

There was no way to keep Nuss and Howard if JD stayed. We got the best two of the three. If I am Howard I go to UGA as quick as I can get there. He and Stetson have a lot of similarities, accurate, average arm strength and decent wheels. That system would work for him.

I'm glad JD stayed. I think he's our best QB and now has a year in the system under his belt. Nuss is a great insurance policy and I'm excited for next year when Nuss takes the reigns. I wish Howard had stayed. He would have had his opportunity unless he knew he might never be the starter. Bottom line, I trust the coaches (except for Miles) to put the best QB on the field.

As mentioned to those idiots at the time, he was never leaving because of Daniels, he left because he didn’t want to be behind Nuss for 3 more years.

This.

As for the current QBs it’s Nuss a lot of us want to see this year after what he showed in the SECCG

It’s freaking amazing that people will want Nuss over Daniels due almost exclusively to his play in the second half the SEC championship game, when Daniels on one leg and confined to the pocket absolutely shredded Georgia’s defense (well before it started liberally subbing in backups) for over 200 yards in one half. It’s like there is an agenda some people have rather than looking at the total picture. Oh wait . . .

We legit have a shot to win a Natty this year and Daniels is a big reason why. If Howard couldnt beat him out and work on improving so that he's ready to be the starting QB at LSU in a few years when he's ready, then frick him and all the players with a pussy arse mindset that want something handed to them without earning it. frick that weakness, frick that lack of competitive drive, and frick that quitters mentality. Go be 3rd string at Ole Miss and laugh at yourself when Kiffin bolts after two years for greener pastures, loser.

Ole Miss. He didn't want to be 3rd String Here and instead chose to be 3rd String in Oxford.

2024 was the year he cared about. With Nuss staying he knew he wasn't going to beat out Nuss. The outlook for next year doesn't look good but he was promised that opportunity for 2024 so who knows but I took Howard leaving as it saying more about the talent and progression of Nuss then it did anything about Howard.
