shoulda never told brennan shite either(altho he may have asked where he stood who knows) and kept all three in suspense. keep the competition flowing and keeping them in the mix helps prevent transfers.

This isn't the move of a confident coach.
Yeah, if things "go south", people are going to really obsess over how he didn't name a starting QB the week leading up to the first game. That's definitely how this works. AD is sure gonna have a hard time overlooking that.

I hope we don't find out, but 100% this will be brought up over and over again if the LSU QB lays an egg. I'm not predicting that.

AD? Who mentioned the AD?
The consensus view of LSU football right this second is that if it shows up and plays to its ability, it should beat FSU with reasonable comfort.
This decision doesn't sound like a coach who is comfortable.

I don't like it because to me it means either they are going to use a 2 QB system or he's not all that confident. I guess I just hate the idea of thinking we need mind games to beat FSU.
