Your run game needs work. Let's put backups in to work on the things we need our starters to do next week. Sounds positively brilliant.

Don't be stupid. They are coaching Green to be a complete ball player. Anyone can get hurt at any given time.

They had enough reps against Tech.

3-3-5 defense that the starters looked completely unprepared for and disinterested in fricking around with anymore at that point of the game.

Up 20.

W was in hand.

He can't block.

I love TDG but he is either a situational player or decoy, not an every down player

According to what? He could in the Clemson game.

Sorry, too busy to go through thread. I'm certainly willing to be proven wrong. He doesn't seem to have the frame for it, and I literally have never seen him make a good block.

Do you know of any plays where he made a TE (as opposed to a WR) kind of block?

You put your 6 foot seven tight in in blocking situations like this against Louisiana tech types because he’s got to learn how to do this in big games versus Florida and Alabama

It sucks that it happened and had he not got rolled up on This would be a non-issue. He got rolled up on and injuries happen.

This is a 2020 hindsight question.

I’m just saying that he had a 77.8 run blocking grade against Clemson. Maybe the guys at PFF have no clue what they are looking at though.

Or drops it.

Thanks. That's certainly something to consider.

Love the kid. Hope he makes it in the NFL.

Green could have been rolled up on at any point.

Football player gets hurt on a football play. Shocking. Never knew that could happen.

I don't mind Green on the play. It is unfortunate that the injury happened. At the TE position, we are going to be ok.

Wasn't Green hurt because our baby soft interior OL got pushed up onto the side of his leg? This all starts with Chester.

It's coaching malpractice how underused Green was in both games! Not one single seam route or pop pass over the middle, a run game's best friend.

His future is an NFL tight end. Do you think he doesn’t want to improve and become a great blocker? We’re not forcing him against his will to block
