Bama’s OL has been very susceptible to giving up pressure, combine that with the game being in tiger stadium and the pass rush for LSU being great so far this has potential for another Keelon melt down like in Neyland.

Keelon melts down vs pressure. It’ll be a long night for him in tiger stadium if we win upfront

We have a weak O line. Let’s see how they stand up to the Bama front.

If Baker sits back and plays conservative a la OM and Kentucky, I'm going to lose my shite.

Hopefully Baker has figured out the mobile QB defense.

I surely hope so. Bama still has a ton of talent on that team. However, they’re not being coached to their potential. We need to score early and score often. And if we get a big lead on them, keep scoring. We don’t take our foot off their throat until the clock reads all 0’s. We already know we have to beat Bama and the refs. So, score and keep scoring so they can’t come back.

2025 LSU didn't have a DL with more than 2 sacks. Our top 2 sack leaders were Perkins with 4 and West Weeks with 2.5.

Princewill has 8.5 Ross and Geralds have 5 each 8 games in.

As long as we make the tackle

He is a better QB than Milroe and we managed to make him look like a Heisman contender twice

If Keelon breaks containment ot could be trouble

In SEC play, LSU has allowed 8 sacks, which is 4th (first is 5 sacks); Bama has allowed, Bama has allowed 21 sacks, that is 14th.

Overall, LSU has allowed 13 and Bama 23.

Hoping Baker brings pressure. Seems like when you should pressure he does not. It’s night and day difference in defense. It keeps the players engaged and into every second of the snap. Playing 10yards off the receiver and no pressure players relax

When is this board going to realize that blitzing against a mobile QB is one of the WORST things you can do.

I like our tackles in pass protection. Seaton is a stud in pass protection and Weston has rlly been rock solid. Our guards esp LG are the concern.

Baker has actually done a good job all season stifling the legs of the mobile qbs we’ve faced. I think we will be up to the task agaisnt Russell’s legs

The weakness are our interior guards, and they have been improving. Also, Levitt has been improving, and the coaches have schemed the offense to take the pressure off of the guards. Frankly, I’m not that worried about our offensive line.

Have you watched Russell when he is pressured? His QB rating sinks like a rock when heated up and his OL is poor in pass protection. We may be able to get to him rushing four, but he picks people apart when he has a clean pocket.

How often have we ever stopped a dual threat Alabama quarterback. Not from lack of talent but lack of coaching.
