The national pundits saying Natty or bust for the #13 team in the country looks even sillier.

Too high: A&M
Too low: USC

That's fair. Maybe even a couple of spots higher than I thought.

I don't see it with Alabama.

There not a top 20 team. It's only because of their soft schedule they will stay in the top 25.

Lost their entire oline from last year and are likely replacing 2 of them with guys who were starters on one of LSU's worst olines of all time

so as it stands today...

LSU opens season vs #23 Clemson at home

Then on the road for #10 Ole Miss

Then #8 TX A&M at home

Then #11 Bama at home

#4 Texas at home

and #18 TN away

Wasn't the media saying LSU has an easy schedule this year?

Lost Klein as OC too and promoted Wiggins from within. Will he be a good OC? We’ll find out

Damn I forgot about that. That's an even bigger question IMO

Losing the best head coach in the history of your program, your entire offensive staff, a few key players, and having a drunk as a first time head coach has to matter.

Literally every other prognostication source I’ve seen whether it be a magazine, online, YouTube folks, whatever, have had us in the 8-10 range. This is disappointing.

13th in the country is great but that also puts us at 7th in the SEC. I just don't think 7 SEC teams will exist in the top 13 at seasons end once we start canabalizing each other.

He was listed as co-oc with Klein, but that doesn’t necessarily mean much (i.e. Hankton). I’m not a ghey&m fan so I don’t know much about that situation

A brand new oline isn't exactly first year OC friendly
