He will run somewhere in the 4.4’s. And with that time he will lock himself in as a top 10 pick.

4.6 lost a step due to his year off. Hope I am wrong.

Is LSU supposed to host his pro day?

The very first time the announcers say “JaMaar Chase from LSU” the publicity will more than pay for his pro day. Chase made a fortune for LSU. Without him, there is no championship.

Why would he have lost a step? If anything, he’ll run the fastest time possible because he’s done nothing but train for the past 7 months.

High 4.4, low 4.5.

He’s not going to flash an amazing time. His main attributes are routes, balance, ball skills, and strength.

I would guess he's faster than Jefferson though. So it'd definitely possible he breaks 4.4.

Hard to tell since he has taken a year off but I'm guessing 4:47.

Is he a great route runner? I honestly never viewed him that way. Explosion, strength, and ball skills are what makes him elite, IMO.

You would be correct. I wouldn’t put route running as one of his best traits at this point. Not to say he can’t be a great route runner, but that wasn’t something he showed at LSU. Because he was so strong and explosive, he was able to succeed with a limited route tree.

He won't run, because he is too afraid of getting hurt before the draft. You know, kinda like he was in 2020?

This is how I see things as well.

And, that's why I'm really interested in his workouts. If his workouts somehow weren't special, you kind of have to start wondering if he might fall from that top WR spot.

WRs without elite speed (premise of the discussion) AND without elite size (given) and without elite route running (your and my assessment) generally don't go at the top.

I mean, did he ever get caught? I just remember him breezing by everyone in his way most of the time and nobody ever really catching him.

Not knowing anything but what I saw on the field, I would surprised if he is not better than 4.45.

Think he might be able to beat it but pro day times are always faster.
