“ could be going from bad to worse. “

While what you say might well be true, it’s been long time for Joe to go. imo

He’s made some really questionable decisions and although I don’t know the man personally, he comes across as being extremely arrogant and for no good reason

Put me in the camp that’s ready for Joe to go

To say that Williams is connected to a lot of nola politicians of a certain ilk is an understatement. Very very connected.

And trust me, if he is picking the next candidate, that person will have to fill certain...qualifications. 100%. I'll say no more.

He isn't the judge and jury in the hire so he's not just going to be able to hire a black guy. You can just come out and say it. We're all adults here.

If they are working together, it’s only because Earring wants to replace Alleva and Wade with someone darker, and his boss JBE thinks that will help him with his main block of voters

Couldn't care less if the replacement is dark or not. All that matters is if he's competent and cares about LSU.

With that said, Wade should stay and if they want to replace Joe Alloser with Thomas Sowell, Larry Elder, Ben Carson or even Sheriff David Clarke, I wouldn't complain.

I don’t trust earring guy. I want Alleva out as much as the next guy, but the problem goes beyond him. Also, Verge is fine as interim, but he’s not the permanent solution. I don’t know if Alexander and the BOS can be relied on to make a good hire.

To the downvoters: do any of you actually think there’s a conspiracy to replace King/Alleva/Wade with black dudes for the benefit of the governor? Some of you are deranged

How long have you been living in Louisiana?

If you look up the word nepotism in the dictionary there's an outline of our state.

You foolish race baiters ( Black and White) on this board crack me up with your rhetoric. They want to keep Wade and hire Scott Woodward the AD at A&M.

Saw the article, myself. To be honest, I'm not a fan of ANY of them. Alleva, Alexander, nor Williams. I think they all 3 need to go. Alleva and Alexander asap.

I would love this being that he is from BR. But on the business side of this he is at A&M which has so much money for athletics they are running out of things to spend it on between the new projects or renovations they are doing or have already done. Blue Bell alone could fund most of their projects

Yeah I wonder How good an AD he is when he can’t just throw insane cash around like he has been.

Certainly it's MUCH easier to be a good AD when you have donors willing to spend whatever it takes to fund whatever they think is necessary to win. That said, money can't replace a feeling of loyalty to your hometown and alma mater. I certainly wouldn't fault someone in his position at A&M for staying, but sometimes there's just inherent value in being a "hero" in your hometown at a place dear to your heart.

Alleva must have damaging pictures on someone that is highly important at LSU ... how else can it be explained that he is still employed?
I mean if Wade is re-instated (which I hope he is) then what was the purpose or meaning of the suspension... other than an over reaction to a media article by a proven over-reactor like Alleva.
