Exactly.. like all the major P4 programs missed on the evaluations of ALL of them. That's just insane.

My bad.. I totally misread the thread. I've read several social media postings concerning 10 on field coaches, and that's where my head was. Totally dropped the ball on this one. Sorry.

I asked AI, and this was the answer:
FBS programs can have an unlimited number of on-field coaches (including analysts and quality control staff) during practices and games, but they are limited to a total of 11 staff members (the head coach and 10 assistants) who may participate in off-campus recruiting activities.
This rule change, implemented in June 2024, allows all institutional staff to provide technical and tactical instruction to student-athletes on the field while maintaining limits on off-campus recruiting personnel to help preserve competitive balance among programs. The designated off-campus recruiters must also regularly coach on campus.

I've been wanting him since he entered.

I'm not from Alex, but I grew up across the river. I'm always pulling for local CenLa athletes. I watch the HS games on 446 Sports. ?? Can't help myself.
I live in Texas, now. So I try to keep up with their HSFB, too. It's definitely a lot to juggle. I do a lot of FFWDing between plays.
Sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread.

Right.. It used to bother me some, but I quit watching ESPN many years ago. I only tune in for games when I have to.
re: Dylan Purter flips to Florida

Right. I remember getting real excited for signing day back when there was only one, and there was no portal. But I also remember how disappointing it was when certain recruits flipped. It's still fun, but the extra signing day and portal definitely softens the blow IMO
Sticking around, that's a different story. Gives us something else to worry about every year, as the portal gives us something else to look forward to every year. ??

Google it. The only thing I didn't do is provide the links. But the info is there. Whether they're right or wrong is beyond me.

He's signed according to Louisianasports.net, On3, 247,Tigerbait, NOLA, and several others.
re: Penn State has to be waiting on Deboer

They aren't waiting on anyone. They've been turned down by a number of head coaches including Kalani Sitake, Jeff Brohm and Matt Rhule.
re: So, LSU just married the stripper

Same money as the frat boy. Don't change the truth to fit your narrative behind this concocted cesspool you've felt enlightened by creating.
And using the stripper analogy- He's more like the "Madame" who's been there/done that. She's found what it was in life she was looking for. She decided she's had enough of the fast life, and rode off into the sunset with the big fish she felt comfortable with. She knew he had everything she would ever need to help make her dreams come true, and be able to accommodate her in all of her future endeavors.

?? Just dropped by to down vote. I wonder if some of you are hearing voices.. ?? ?? Absolutely nothing has changed except KNOWING UF is pursuing other candidates.

Still nothing with Kif's sig on it. Anyone can draw up a contract. Signing it is when it counts.
Don't forget.. Tom Herman/ ESPN Bottom Line Ticker.

I totally agree. IMO, there's about 8-10 coaches that are "good" but, unproven.
re: Dellenger update: LSU finalizes massive offer for Ole Miss coach
Posted by magicman0001 on 11/21/25 at 9:45 pm to lsufan0582
It reads like what it is.. just an offer. Ole Miss has had an offer on his desk for over a month. I'm sure UF has an offer, too. Real question is: who's does he sign?
