UL-L ever beat an SEC team in it's history, regardless of who the coach was? I'll save you the effort of googling it.

NO

Well Technically they beat a current SEC team in Texas A&M when they were part of the Big 12.

We all want these coaches..

No one we wanted stepped forward for the OC and DC job.. we were desperate.

Would this be the same? Or would these candidates actually be interested?

Nice try. A&M wasn't in the SEC back then.

And that was the worst thing that ever happened to UL-L. It gave them 25 years of false hope that they could beat the big boys.

Joe Brady- contacted already and said no

ill go with it for the sole reason that we know now beyond a shadow of a doubt what he's capable of on the offensive side.

Joe Brady didn't like the recruiting aspect of college. Not sure why he was even mentioned.

I hope that we can get some more names in this thread and someone reads it.

Hiring Dave to follow O is like hiring Gus to follow Chizik.

Big Aranda fan. Not sure about him as HV. He hired fricking Munez to be OC

Other than O, none of these guys would have recruited Burrow, Chase, Jefferson, Marshall, Clyde, Patrick Queen, Delpit, Stingley and the rest at the same time and gotten them all to come. O isn't perfect and he may well be headed out, but if you are going to make comparisons, use the whole record. 2019 counts. You can't say, well if it wasn't for 2019 because Jimbo has won exactly one Championship, Smart 0, Mullen 0, Freeze 0, Peterson 0, Fleck 0, Nappier 0, Fickle 0. And while many of these have not really been in place you can win a natty you still have to use all of 0's results.

Also make Urban tell you no.

Now there's a name that fits Woody's hiring preference. Sucks that he's in his first year at Jacksonville, and highly unlikely to leave at the moment.

Mario cristobal would be a nice pick.

Never realized how much fickell looks like rob riggle.

Petersen isn't coming to lsu.

Pat Fitzgerald has won 2 divisional titles at northwestern which is impressive. He’s young and a good defensive mind.

Fitzgerald doesn't seem like he would leave northwestern for lsu. Would have to be a notre dame or something.

Same as fickell. They are nothern/midwest guys.

He probably wouldn't, but it doesn't hurt to ask. Who knows, maybe he is butting heads with the admin. Maybe his wife hates Oregon. There is literally zero downside in putting feelers out on him.

For some reason i really want lane kiffen but my head is telling me no.

That dude would have lsu with a top 10 offense and lsu recruits itself.

Lane kiffen would swing his dick even more at lsu. In a way ole miss is perfect for him cause it's not to big and he doesn't have to answer to many people.

Matt camphell
Cristobal
Kiffen
Napier. Those 4 would be my list

Not being rude but why do you want Campbell or Cristobal?

Campbell is a hype man like O - he loses games he shouldn't.

Cristobal is literally an offensive line version of O. Doesn't call any plays and relies off coordinators. 52-57 record and 3-3 bowl games.

One on your list is not like the others. Napier has never been a P5 coach. Woodward will not roll his career dice on that.

Even Fickell only has 1 year, and only posted a 6-6 record, the year after OSu had a 12-1 record. He got passed over at OSU for a reason.
