It’s the ultimate sales pitch!

Chip Kelly, he checks all the boxes O doesn’t and would be exciting to have as our coach.
Yup.
Oregon fired more or less. (checkbox and got them placed on probation)
Philadelphia Eagles fired. (checkbox)
San Fran 49ers fired. (checkbox)
Ucla record (12-21)

It’s hard to argue with what Fitzgerald has done at NW, but that just feels like a boring hire and a boring brand of football to me.
I think we need an offensive-minded HC, just my opinion.

I think you better include some diversity on that coaching list
It’s a new age folks

As long as they can recruit/teach the offensive and defensive lines better I'm ok with that approach

Good suggestion. How about Daronte for head coach?
Posted on 9/7/21 at 12:14 pm to SlidellCajun
Right. Because the Captain Crown message board list is the official LSU release.

If Woodward offers him the keys to the LSU football program, I find it very hard to believe he wouldn’t come.

so running baylor into the ground should get him a shot at LSU?
how dumb are you?

James Franklin should be on this list.

Very nice compilation.
My pick: Napier.

If there's someone I should add to the list I will. Do you have a name in mind?

Brian Kelly at Notre Dame checks all of Woodward's boxes. Not saying he would be my choice, but it has the visual appeal of a typical Woodward hire.

Brian Kelly leaves Notre Dame and Marcus Freeman's coach in waiting status gets activated

jesus some of yall are dumb and dont follow football
A) Chip kelly has been a failure at ucla. 12-21 there. dont be stupid over one game. also has become works less than pretty much every other HC and it shows. Proof is in the pudding.
B) Pat Fitzgerald is never leaving Northwestern. He has made that clear.
C) Freeze is 100% not going to be a candidate at a SEC school much less one won under title ix investigation.
but lets talk...what part of Freezes record says he was elite? the one year in 2015?
D) Kiffen has off the field issues to when it comes to title ix and chasing coeds. its a no go. not to mention he was a failure as head coach at the big time schools he was at. never lost less than 3 games in any stop except for the one year at usc. had a losing season at FAU.
in no particular order its
FLeck
Campbell
Napier
Cristobal
Fickell
-not sure fleck, campbell or fickell would leave the midwest. Concerning none have really worked outside that region, but a winner is a winner and all three are. Personally feel like Fleck is best out of them because he has done it at 2 programs now. Slowly built western and now minnesota. Have to be somewhat concerned about Fickell 6-6 record at OSU. Have to be slightly concerned with Campbells recruiting. Fleck is big time recruiter.
-cristobal - did well at FIU and was crazy he got fired after one down year. Great recruiter and oline coach. Questions about gameday coaching. Would be a great hire but not sure we could get him.
Napier- very detail oriented and has been a miricle worker at ull. would be a great hire in every way. Possible concerns about total overall expierence, but less so than normal with coaches at that level due to previous expierence.
