Notes:

- Heartbreaking for Jaden Hill.

- had a chance to break through in the bottom of the first

- saw Hill stretch his forearm. Said something felt weird. Said he wasn’t in pain. Felt weird after a change up. He tried to throw a ball and felt discomfort. Prudent to take him off the field. Ortho checked him out. Couldn’t tell at the time. Will wait till Monday to get more tests. So much at stake for Hill so very heartbreaking. The game became a secondary thing at that point. We brought in a new pitcher and they went up by five runs. Game got out of hand.

- Blake Money was terrific. Longest he’s gone for us. We will need someone to step up. Blake could do that. His pitches are improving. Did a great job keeping us in the game for a while.

- Leiter is good. He’s the best pitcher he’s seen in the SEC ever. He could be starting in the MLB now. I was afraid every out would be a strike out. Feels like 100 mph pitch. He’s the total package.

- it’s going to be a short night tonight. AJ has done great for us. Vandy is good. Great staff and lineup. Number 1 for a reason

That’s it.

You can't fricking say this. You just can't. There are other kids on the team that deserve the best chance to win the game.

Nothing like a coach who sets an example of how to handle adversity

Paul isn’t even trying anymore

He knew when Hill got hurt it ended any chance of him turning this season around.

Which is why he went numb and lost focus.

Well at least we know why Arnold and Sanford didn’t hit until the 9th inning.. Mainieri wasn’t even thinking about the game. What an absurd thing to say

It wasn’t a close game. So, no.

More like the season got out of hand. I couldn't believe earlier this season Hill was allowed to throw 117 pitches given his history and unproven durability.

I don’t think this happened.
