As an 80s student, I always liked those purple jerseys. Wish we wore them more often.

Purple jerseys rock! However since it's a night, I prefer the purple with gold slacks and helmets-- those colors pop under the Tiger Stadium lights

The pattern has been around for years, not sure why people struggle every year to figure it out

The FB post advertising jerseys for sale probably just has a surplus of purple and are reminding people that that's game 1. I seriously doubt they have any inside info
