Tiger Stadium is a shell of what it was. It now only gets up for 1 game a year. Hopefully that will be the A&M game since they will be a top 5 team.

This is in reference to the student section. If you are 18-22 and care about postgame traffic, you are going to be one angry adult.
Much of the student section is blackout girls who need to go home so they can get energy t go to Tigerland after. Another portion is the guys that are responsible for dealing with said girls. Another portion is people who are falling asleep because watching this team can be depressing. Also, the rest of the stadium being 50% full doesn't help the environment either. Students see the rest of the stadium clearing out and they don't feel bad about doing the same.

I hate what gamedays have become. True fans have been forced out by greed. People show up for photo ops and to get drunk. The people I know that still attend games all leave at halftime, regardless of the opponent or score. When I was a kid getting into football in the early 2000s Saban era, it was a privilege to go to a game. We tailgated in our free tailgating spot with hundreds of others in the Hayfield lot with a modest setup. Stayed the whole game and came back to tailgate a little more while traffic eased up. People dressed normal and could handle their alcohol. I don’t recognize gamedays anymore

Go to the game. Enjoy the game. Leave when you want. Don't worry about things you can't control. Tiger Stadium, year after year, is named one of the best sporting venues in the world.

TS is what it is… if it’s not a Top10 opponent, expect this.
This varies greatly from opponent to opponent but that goes for every stadium. Most student sections in the SEC would empty out for a non-rival, non-ranked team you should beat.

Girl in yellow is pretty excited.

The west sideline consistently underwhelms relative to the rest of the stadium and has forever. The south endzone makes is always packed, loud and holding strong in the 4th quarter of all games!

Statistics show SEC games often lose between 15 - 30% of their attendance by the 4th quarter.

This started happening alot more once the game day experience got more corporate. It is what it is. LSU chases every dollar because that is what is needed to compete in today's college football. They don't care that the tailgate experience is dying and that seats are empty. As long as someone paid for the parking pass and the ticket, they still make theirs.

They didn't leave for Florida. People are in a funk over this offense.

100%. The south, east and north hold up. The west will clear out in a tied game vs Bama entering the 4th. They gone.

This is a trend across college football, it’s not unique to LSU.
Saban scolded fans while at Alabama for leaving early.
It is what it is for sure.

I don’t disagree, but like it or not, people want to watch a game with offensive production. It was 10-3 at halftime, with the entire half being boring to watch. When you combine that with all the other factors, it’s no surprise people leave.
At least the students show up in the first place, and when they leave they are going to other events. The west side like doesn’t even show up, and they leave at halftime to go home to their dog.

The Greeks have always left early.

2019 was great, but it spoiled us
Even in 2019, the student section was emptying out quite a bit, though maybe not as much as now.

I would add age…folks that CAN afford ticket prices are choosing to stay home for all those reasons and they just don’t want to put up with the nonsense (yes I’m old ??).
