It’s a weird narrative. So Dellenger is reporting that if a judge rules that the players are eligible from an NCAA perspective and invalidates the SEC’s rules banning said players, then certain SEC officials are going to try to sanction and potentially expel LSU for failing to follow a rule that legally doesn’t exist (and remember this is all a one-time issue and involves a TE who played in NFL preseason, meanwhile no issues with guys going to minicamp or playing in the g-league).

I think what makes the most sense is the Universities/SEC are acting like this is a huge issue, just like the NCAA, to intentionally make it a public spectacle. All so they can force congress to get involved and pass the bill in some form or fashion.

Easiest way to make it a huge spectacle? Pin everything on LSU and Lane. UK, South Carolina, Clemson, etc aren’t going to move the needle at all.

I'm not going to lie, you consistently show your arse when you post with constant misinformation. I remember you during the the Lane Kiffin saga when he came to LSU. Cope man.

It's okay to admit when you're wrong.

Why are these guys even practicing? Why not wait until after Thursday? They aren't playing Saturday no matter what. What a cluster.

They are not officially rostered until Friday.

He's an awful commissioner. And I felt that way long before all of this happened.

Sankey showed his incompetence with the Hurricane Matthew fiasco back in 2016. He is completely reactionary. He has ridden Slive’s coattails and rested on Slive’s laurels his entire tenure. I don’t understand how conference members have tolerated his ineptitude for so long. If this is what gets him fired, finally, it was all worth it.

The speaker of the House and the Majority leader of the house are LSU graduates, I think we will be ok.

No chance they would kick us out of the SEC but I’m with you. It’s just not worth it. I’m over it honestly. All of this for just depth pieces.

The Yankees were the ones the MLB provided cover for. Not the Red Sox.

are just going to piss off the judge even more for blatantly disobeying his orders.

i tried telling people this here but they do not have experience in court with a black judge. I do. I have seen it first hand. that is all i can disclose here.

if I had to guess, it won't go well for the NCAA, SEC & other conferences.

the judge from southern u is going to make sure sankey is lambasted in that court hearing. i sure hope skankey has his resignation papers ready.

Exactly- SEC leaking this is so much worse not just for Thursday but the future. It's almost like they have never litigated in Louisiana before. And Tony Clayton on the other side? Nothing else matters, SEC loses

After that, who knows...
