The CFP cannot be forced to put teams in the 12 team playoff. By anyone.

And please tell us what the CFP can be enjoined from? It is a subjective process when it comes to bids to the CFP. The court has zero authority to influence that body if they decide to blackball NFL-rostered college teams.

Are the other schools welcoming the canned NFL players to their facilities the day after they are cut from the NFL? There are logistics to that. One cannot claim they are just a passive witness, when they are oiling the process.

The CFP?? Yeah, no one is winning a lawsuit for losing value because of a decision made by the CFP. That is on its face, preposterous.

Nope. There is no injunction or remedy to prevent them from favoring non NFL-player teams. There is no standing to sue or have a court change their judgment as to who makes the tourney. Thanks for playing.

Exactly. Even if they say that are going to do it...no court can change their discretion to rank the teams as they see fit.

CFP Administration, LLC, manages the administration operations of the College Football Playoff. Members of the company are the 10 FBS conferences (American, Atlantic Coast, Big Ten, Big 12, Conference USA, Mid-American, Mountain West, Pac-12, Southeastern and Sun Belt) and the University of Notre Dame

But these players used up their eligibility under the rules that existed when they played. So they are no longer eligible "college players"

The CFP is it's own LLC and operated with a board so they can propose, approve, implement whatever rules they want.
They would be smart to ban school from participating that roster a pro player. That gives more strength to keeping college, college.

So if these fractional groups are allowed to play, what about the other 220 that fit the category of 4 years played under the old rules? The others that were not granted TROs by an overreaching local judge.
