Hopefully a short outing vs SELA this weekend though

Yeah, keep our boy safe. Should be fun to see MVB take at least a half’s worth of snaps.

According to any of the guys for Louisianasports.net that went camp practices, he and Hurley really struggled with accuracy. Like overthrew people without anyone covering.

Got ya. Didn’t MVB start most of the season for State?

The doomsayers will always find something to spiral about. It’s in their DNA. They must spiral, as to what they’ll spiral about next is TBD

With this upcoming game I think it’s important we get a big lead early so we can pull him and give younger guys reps now.

I’d say Nuss maybe gets 2-3 series. Our offense still needs to work on some things before Ole Miss. hopefully see MVB in the 2nd quarter

If he can't throw downfield, you sit him until he can.

This is BK covering his arse and Sloan.

That's fricking stupid. I would let Van Buren play the first half and Hurley the second half.

Give Nuss whatever they gave him when he hurt his shoulder last year. That 2nd half, he was like Joe Montana.

By making up injuries to star players? He’d never get a big time QB again.

He needs to stop doing the UFC priming jump before every drive. That's got to be rough on the core.

Maybe we can build up a nice 10 point cushion by late in the 3rd qtr.

Season was ok I guess.

We got lucky with such a weak field in the postseason.

This is probably the 5th or 6th best team in the nation. Not at all ready for the big time

How pathetic.

You are without a doubt one of the shittiest “fans” on this board.

GFY loser.

I would think he had eye or head injury with some of the throws he’s made so far especially that interception!

Oblique issues can linger for a while if that is what it is. MLB pitchers with these are sometimes out a month or more.

Yes, very common in Baseball. Ian Happ was put on 10 day IL this season with it. Texas QB Ewers played with an oblique most of the year last year.

With a rent a win game vs Southeastern, let him rest now.

Sit him Saturday 100%

I want to see what Van Buren can do as mobile QB in this offense. If he lights it up he could be situational when Nuss returns moving forward in season.
