I still think Evans should be the closer. He didn't impress me as a starter but he was very impressive as a reliever.
1984 Notre Dame.....It was an afternoon game. We had filled 2 Greyhound busses and we had 20 cases of beer on each bus and had to stop in Alexandria for a refill. I had to sit in the middle of the Irish fans and watch that fricking mascot get up there and cheer after Allen Pinckett beat us. They were huge underdogs and we were undefeated. 30-22 and it was hot as hell.
Thank you!! I thought I was losing my mind for a bit! Lol
I'm now seeing that it was postponed and his commitment has been taken down.
When I saw the original post, I googled him and it said he committed to the good guys. I have never posted anything but my comments. Lol
Then why am I seeing on X that he committed to LSU over Ole Piss?
I watched every home game. He went to Centenary with 2 friends of his, Melvin Russell and Larry "Spaceman " Davis. It seemed like everytime Centenary would be ranked in the top 20, they always played against #1 ranked Houston, led by Lewis Dunbar of Minden.
Greg Procell of Ebarb was the all-time leading scorer in high school.
Woolridge never considered LSU. ND was always his favorite. I met him when he stopped at the Exxon I worked at. He and his mother were going to the airport. Nice kid. We talked while they were getting gas. He was wearing a ND sweatshirt.
Robert Parish was actually drafted by Golden State. He eventually signed with the Celtics.
Charles Ross came in 3rd in the 100 his junior year. He got beat by Jelani Watkins and Caden Durham. He was running with a cast on his arm.
I like Verdin Verdict. It's only on 3 days a week. I also listen too all the others.
Bino just committed to LSU this morning.
We do if ya'll run kids off!
