I can understand the reasoning that he needs more time with the COVID issues, but I do not understand the lack of hustle (loafs) & p poor tackling. With the exception of Cox, it looks like no one wants to hit.

The first game against an air attack w-out STingley was excused.....but this against Missouri...????
This team is not playing for him and I am not sure the team is sold on him.

Reminds me of Texas TBH.

The Texas hate is silly.

Texas is a goal line fumble and a 4 OT loss from being undefeated and probably Top 5

Ya exactly. The difference between a good team and bad team are those exact plays you're talking about swinging your way. I could name several from last years goat team where if they swung the other way they lose 3 games.

Jail is probably a bit much, but he definitely deserves some kind of punishment for this fiasco ??

Thank u!!! Somebody gets it. Everybody that wont give this team time to grow and make a decesion at the end of this year has the emotional capacity of 14 yr old girl on her period. Any and all logical thinking seems to be lost on this board.

This defense has to improve a lot just to get to Tepper level

I’m hoping we have a 4 win season at this point.

I'm not buying that.

Pelini has been coaching for 25 years, and has been around football his entire life. I he can't simplify the defense enough and make adjustments in-game he is not worth even 1 million per year.

Hell I can be a DC and lose, for half that.

You don't pay a coordinator 2.5 million a year to grow into the job. That's what you pay an established, elite guy.

Yes, and given it was the 3rd game in vs a team that had struggled their first 2 games on offense, to put up that shitty D effort which was as bad as MSU with guys wide open and ongoing confusion makes it much worse. I don't think he is meshing with the players at all and given his known hot temper I don't think he is the guy. O with another crap hire blowing up. Even the run D sucked.

Dude you could run a base 4-2-5 and play cover 3 and not give up 585yds. Just being basic and letting athletes be athletes amd play hard and fast. It’s not that complicated when you have superior talent

Scored 2 against the SEC traditional power Kentucky. That gave up 42 to Ole Miss.
