POS probably got pissed after the QB's were laughing at him because he's so shitty at his job.

The fact this even made it to the broadcast team and was allowed to be put on air is insane. I’d love to know who spilled the beans and approved that going on..

Peetz’s stupid fricking arse told Cole Cubic that he did that last week. They mentioned it during the broadcast.

LSU football is the clown show to end all clown shows right now.

He left the field at the END OF PRACTICE and told the QBs they should stay and practice more. And this got bastardized into "he left practice and told the QBs they can practice by themselves."

Do you actually think he would tell TV people that he gave up on practice? My god.

I think this is correct.

I don't even think they said it wrong, but they really shouldn't have said he left practice. It could have all been worded much better. I need to go back and hear it again. They should have said something like, "After practice was over he asked the QBs to stick around for extra reps."

Do the new pussified rules prevent coaches from working with players past a certain number of hours?

This is what happened. Both QBs did not have a good week of practice. On Wednesday he was pissed and told them both they should stay after practice until they figure it out. Both QBs stayed after and put in more work.

(This isn't directed to you)

But he's the offensive coordinator. He's, at least partially, responsible for 'improving' the QBs. That's just part of his job.

And he gets annoyed and leaves? WTH?

It's no wonder Max (I get it, he's struggling but when the coach that's supposed to teach him says F this and leaves) It's no wonder Max hasn't improved.

Good grief.

He's part of the coaching staff that's supposed to help them figure it out

Unreal.

Rules against that sort of thing. He can’t stay after allotted time for practice. Peetz hasn’t been good, no need throw more shite at the guy.

I blame Woodward for not making Orgeron hire a better coordinator. He should have held Ed’s hand and made sure he made good choices instead of letting him operate autonomously as the head coach.

No competent AD lets the head coach pick his own staff amirite?

Literally every position coach does this same thing numerous times throughout the season, some do it every day. They tell the players to stay late and work extra reps with themselves. Coaches go from practice immediately into film/game prep and recruiting calls every day after practice. Its all scheduled out. Also there is an added benefit to players working through stuff with their teammates without a coach hovering over them. Its fricking standard operating on every team in America college and pro.

He didn't quit during practice. He explained the QBs had a bad day & needed more work. He can't keep them out there (Hence, the 20 hour rule) so he left the script with them & gave them the option to get it right on their own. There was nothing egregious with how he explained it.

I like listening to Jordy and crew but he tends to twist situations or statements while kidding around. Just trying to get clicks but he does go overboard quite often.

Define new. Contact hours have been limited for a very long time.
