It's amazing to me that just a change in perspective can have such a profound positive impact on play.
You get in a rut. Its a mental thing and hard to escape. He probably carried the weight of his lackluster play every game.
At PSU, all that weight was gone. Brand new start and a better mental place.

Dude has all the talent in the world. Sucks it didn't work out at LSU, but I'm happy to see him doing well at Penn State. I wish him continued health and good play.

Facing severely diminished pitcher quality up there

The entire LSU roster has 7 HRs in 8 games vs rag arms.
Kling has 5 in 6 games.

He’s a good kid and wish he had stayed but he’s a PA boy so he’s back home sending balls yard.

Kinda wild so many of you slobbing on the knob of a player who transferred away.

Good for pax, he’ll prob get drafted high if he keeps this up. Knew that talent was there. Will be interesting to see if he can keep it going against better competition

Option 1 - stay at LSU and split time
Option 2 - go home and be in the lineup every day
He did what was best for him and didn’t go to a rival of LSU. I will continue to cheer for him. From all accounts, he’s a really good guy.

Is that really a college baseball stadium?

Seeing that highlight makes me feel depressed for him. Sure, he hit a granny but look at where he is and look at all of the 40-50 fans in attendance. The problem I had with him being at LSU is he never seemed to make adjustments at the plate and with his swing. His 2 strike swing also looked like his 0 strike swings.

For whatever reason Kling just never could get it rolling here at LSU and thats all that mattered. I hope he has a fantastic year and career at Penn St. and congrats to him for a hot start !

Everything CJJ tried to instill in him at LSU is finally starting to sink in at the plate.

He went from playing in front of 10,000 fans to about 50 fans. Oh well, glad he’s doing well.

There is 0 relevance to crowd play.
He is going from playing for his starting spot with multiple players close behind him to free reign starter. He has no pressure to get passed up.
A true what if moment is what if he never got hurt. That seemed to be the start to his decline.
I hope he does really well because I overpaid for an USA Auto card.
