This better not be true. Casey has been out of coaching for several years for health reasons and burn out. No ties to the South. Burn the place down if this happens and fire Woodward while you’re at it. This would be an unmitigated disaster.

If that is the case then don't hire Casey. Coaches have come out of retirement and been successful. We can't have it all. People want a clean program but then bitch when we don't win. Now if he murdered someone obviously that is an issue, but that isn't what we are talking about here. Look at all the people that loved Les and now look at what came out. You have to decide what you want. You can't have it all.

If we've learned one thing from this thread it is the fact that there are a lot of holier than thou SOBs on this board.
Casey didn't commit any crime that we know of...yet he is condemned for a crime that a juvenile pled guilty to that he may or may not even have committed.

Same people crying about Casey want Cannizaro hired. The guy texted his side piece during a game against an instate rival. Lsu fans on this board are clueless. Casey would he an awesome hire.

So, we were going for Sully and that got shot down. Schloss went to aTm. Guess we going for someone who will surely take job if offered. I seem to recall rant giving this guy hell a out the pedo-pitcher a few years back

I don’t give a shite about that pitcher or how he handled it. He’s old. He’s burned out once at one of the easiest places to coach. He has zero ties to the region where we already have recruiting issues. Arky, State, Tennessee… all doing a better job with talent evaluation… and now you add Schloss to the mix.

His sources are usually on the agent side, yes. So he doesn’t always get it right.

IDK but maybe in for 5 years to groom a younger coach. Godwin IMO is a better choice but he may not leave ECU. He has it going on there.
