Well why wouldn’t an OC want a job with Arik Gilbert, Ja Marr Chase, Terrace Marshall Jr, Kayshon Boutte and more coming?

Peyton Manning's Jet was in Baton Rouge today along with Brett Favre's pick-up truck.

It's happening!

For the longest time, no offensive coach would give LSU a second thought. Amazing how one season changes everything. If I'm a young, ambitious offensive guy wanting to move up and prove myself, this is the perfect fit as Brady proved.

Glad I’m not the only one who realizes that. It was my understanding the dude was a LB and then LB coach/DC ??

Think about it. It's been over a week since Brady left and not a single name has leaked out regarding the PGC position. LSU has been incredibly tight-lipped with this specific search.

This may be a bigger hire than many of us may have been expecting.

I’ve said it for years, an up and coming offensive genius would be insane to not come to LSU, if he were given control to call/design a modern offense. Whoever truly fixes LSU’s offense and gets them playing to their potential will have his choice of jobs. Well Brady was that guy and it paid off.
We were so bad on offense for so long that it seemed impossible to change our culture and mindset. Well it took a record breaking offense to do that and here we are. LSU isn’t Tennessee, Nebraska and etc because the talent is here. The talent has always been here. It’s been a culture issue and mindset that defense and a QB manager wins championships. Those days were long gone and we refused to change. Looking back, it needed someone like O, that had everything to lose, to fix the issue. He knew he didn’t have full support of the fan base, no SEC or NC to fall back on or even a resume to fall back on. His love for the game, his need to prove to himself he could do it and limited amount of time forced him to take calculated risks and get the right people in place. I think he knew Brady wouldn’t be here long and he had 1 shot with a QB named Burrow. He capitalized on it 150% and now I think he’s going to hire people that will bring stability. Getting to the top requires 1 strategy. Remaining on top requires a completely different one.

I mean the last guy that took the job went from $50,000 to $300,000 to $2 million+ in one year.

Every offensive coach in the NFL and college below OC should be interested.
That and Ensminger might be the best OC to work with. How many OC's out there are humble, quiet, and allow their coordinator to get so involved in playcalling?

I hope the new guy doesn't come in here and feel the need to lift his leg all over the scheme that worked this past season.

No doubt Brady was a wunderkind coach but LSU’s success was probably 80 percent Joe Burrow’s talent finding its offense.

Since we are throwing out retired/(ing) NFL players, how , O is waiting to see if Brees retires and then O is going to make Drew tell him NO before he hires anyone.
O sells Drew on the fact that Drew gets to coach long enough to teach his boys his system in college. he gets to work remote and commute from NOLA. Once his boys are out, he can run form political office (Govenor if he has moved to BR by then, or just Mayor of NOLA if he is still there).
