Chemistry not developed at all especially in the bc. Shooting 50% within 2 feet.

We can’t defend the three because our guards are too slow to stop dribble penetration.

In some games…not this one though. They are screening and that’s how they’re getting open

Cannot make a single lay-up even when open. Defense has been bad.

Losing to both Bama teams in the same weekend would put a big ole SUCK on everything positive from last weekend.

Piss poor play all around

Our bigs don’t hedge and help the guard. They are lazy and open up hips then trail the guard. Every time. If we help they kick if we don’t they drive. And they aren’t missing every layup.

You can sign up and go to coaches lunches..meetings etc…

It is interesting how they makes comments that directly disagree with your observations and describe how good the other team is at some of your concerns and how they will address it..

Coaches have it under control.. the team has extremely good chemistry on and off the court.

Looks like their plan worked to me.. they knew the strengths of the other team.. had a plan… modified as required..

By them changing their strategy?
I mean I wasn’t wrong.
The bigs started straight switching. Which is fine when it’s angel and Aneesah. They can guard just about anyone. And HVL sat most of the second half.

Hedging doesn't work as much as our coaches in middle and high school led us to believe. At higher levels, it's a pick your poison scenario. If you hedge on the perimeter, you risk the roll/pop. If the roll/pop is found, and helpside comes...you risk the open shot if the pass is made. If you don't hedge you risk the three. Kim mentioned this in her postgame. Teams who execute the screens well, put you in a bad spot, bc you become unsure of what it is that you need to do.

Are you describing our Men's team?Surely you aren't drunk enough, this early, to criticize Mulkey's team/coaching prior to halftime.

What’s the ncaa average for shots within 2 feet for women? It’s not like they are able to finger roll it in or dunk it. All teams are kinda throwing the ball at the basket in traffic. It’s not going to be that efficient

I think we saw a brief glimpse of the future when LSU used the full court press and also briefly played a zone defense that totally stifled Bama. I don't think KM wanted to show any of this, but she had to in the Bama game.

Lots more paint shots would be made if we jumped UP instead of floating or staying almost attached to the floor as we shot. We got 50 paint points against Bama but it could have bee another 12-20 if we consistently jumped up toward the rim. We "sling" a lot of shots and hope they go in. Really hurt us against USEe and actually could have been the difference in winning that one.
