Our front office situation really is hopeless isn’t it

Mickey (an accountant, not a football guy) has had the GM gig for 26 years. Our greatest success is due to Sean and Drew. Salary cap manipulation be damned (definitely still not affecting us) he’s not going anywhere seeing as he has airtight job security because…
Our sweet, sweet owner is just kind of happy to be here and keep things ticking along.
Lauscha isn’t going anywhere.
Our best case scenario is Mickey “retires” and they promote someone like Harley. Does anything really change?
Its absolutely insane to see how little pressure some of these guys are under. We need youth, hunger, football people, grinders in these spots.
Here’s to several more 6-11 seasons.

Completely lucked in to SP and Drew. Drew wanted Miami.
Has been dogshit before and after.
And he’s never leaving until 5 years after Gayle dies. So we are totally fricked.

He is in the trust. The guy isn't going anywhere and should have a long time ago

Like this is primed for a house cleaning, new hotshot GM, etc
But we’ll just run it back with the old white haired nonce protection club

Yep. Reminds me exactly of Mora's last years under Tom and Bill Kuharic. Just keep filling up the Dome, and all is good. They finished 8-8 one year and were just elated about it. It took the crowds waning down to 40,000ish before major changes ensued.

Payton iirc also wanted the green bay job. And he was only available because a year or two earlier Bill Parcells talked him out of the Raiders job.

Last night was shocking to the entire country. if we suck again this year and she doesn't make the move then she never will
we have to accept that loomis is the same as jerry jones. he's never leaving

There are perpetual whispers he will relinquish GM role for another title in the organization. We can only hope. Dude is 70 years old. If he cares about the team he should do what’s best

Loomis cant manage a roster, period.

Saints need a younger mind in the front office. The game has passed Loomis.

We don’t have a front office, we have a succession. Our “front office” is just waiting on Gayle to die so they can cash in. They DGAF about the product on the field.

I'm not sure he ever was ahead of the curve.

So jealous of what Khan did for the Jaguars. Dude is clueless about football but was willing to keep taking cracks at it, ultimately going with a youth movement of the FO and staff that appears to be exactly what a smaller maket team needs in the modern nfl.

As long as Gale is the owner, nothing will change. She fills the front office with family and friends.

Do you remember the cockiness in the interviews that dude was giving a few years ago? I won't believe it until I see it

Even if he did, what would be the difference? He'd still be the guy whomever the GM answers to, and he'd be the one picking the GM anyway
