Their best pass rusher, their highest back up rb, and a starting safety out vs LSU. Have not seen anything bout their safety yet no link

Was he going NFL this year? Sorry, don't know anything about him. Just hate to see his stock drop any because of this

Nobody is confirming this. I’m not buying it

Other Ou site not saying anything about it and nothing on Twitter

Now THAT is a contact injury

oddly enough, I've had a buddy break his collar bone not once but twice without making contact with anyone else. Still a contact injury, per se, but he did it the first time tripping and falling while running sprints and re-injured it again years later acting like an a-hole water skiing (I only laugh because he did too, both times, because he's a clutz)

Breaking the femur is a lot worse and requires much more force to break.

Every time I hear about someone breaking their collar bone it makes me cringe. It just seems like it has to hurt exponentially more than a broken arm or leg.

My wife broke her collar bone as a teenager. It still hurts her in her 30s. Whenever I rub her shoulders/neck I have to be careful on that one side.

Worst pain I’ve ever been in.

Are the OU players who got hurt in the Big 12 championship game out for the playoffs? I think it was a linebacker, corner and maybe o-line?

It does not really matter......the safety would have been scorched anyway.

"Every time I hear about someone breaking their collar bone it makes me cringe. It just seems like it has to hurt exponentially more than a broken arm or leg."

When I was a baby, I fell off the back of a couch onto a tool box and broke my collar bone. Then a year or so later, as a toddler, I rode my tricycle off of the porch and broke the same collar bone again when I hit the top of the concrete curbing. The second break was about a quarter of an inch from the first break so it shows you just how strong the bone heals when you break it. Fortunately, I have no memory of either incident or the pain I might have been in at the time because I was so young when it happened.

I broke my collar bone on a 70 yard run back in glorious high school JV days.

I got caught from behind and tackled just like Charles Scott did when he broke his back in 08 or 09 I think it was. My weight plus the defenders slamming into the ground.

Funny thing was, I knew RIGHT AWAY it was broken. I felt it go POP. Yet it didn't hurt a single bit. The momentum from the tackle basically rolled me back onto my feet. I jogged to the sideline with my noodle arm to the bewilderment of everyone going nuts for my run, wondering why I just came off the field. I told them "broke my collar bone." Coaches didn't believe it.

Sure shite it was broken. Once the adrenaline wore off, every single effing bump on the road to hospital was death. Spent several days laid up on Oxys I think. Still have a bump on my collar bone to this day.

Needless to say getting caught from behind in JV is why I post on tigerdroppings and no longer play football.
