Fact is, UF has had the best results from the most average recruits than the other programs. That is coaching!
Can I just interrupt and say this is entirely false.
You can say he does great with the best pitching staff in baseball year after year. If that's what you meant then carry on.

It’s all about money
People that say this are only admitting that it's all about money for themselves. Sometimes, and for some people, it's not all about money.

This is baseball! There’s are always chokes, but since Mainieri was hired, there have been more chokes by LSU with more on the line than any other team in college baseball. With our consistent talent pull, we should have won more titles
You obviously have no clue what you are talking about
Why didn't you make this thread when Florida lost a midweek game last week to a small school?
Sully has 1 title with the same amount of talent as LSU
More talent on the mound
He had 3 1st round picks last year and couldn't win a championship

If we got O'Sullivan CPM would go to Florida and kick the shite out of us every year.
Posted on 3/13/19 at 8:35 am to kciDAtaE
OP and everyone else would want Sully fired as well
Only 1 title in 11 years
And contrary to what you might believe, they bring in as much or more talent than LSU. They have had multiple, yes multiple, top draft picks decide to come play for them under Sully

We’re all about the same, but when it comes to making the best of the recruits we get, LSU is about even with FSU and Miami. We’re outpaced by UF. Please argue that this is wrong.
CPM at LSU
12 Total seasons
1 CWS title
1 runner up
5 CWS Appearances
4 SEC titles
Sully at Florida
11 total seasons
1 CWS title
1 runner up
7 CWS Appearances
5 SEC titles
Seems pretty damn comparable

Because of the insane amount of talent in Florida, they are able to essentially load up on high level in-state guys at the scholarship limit or as walk-ons and cherry pick OOS guys like Harrison Bader or AJ Puk for higher scholarship dollars.
You could argue that with all the built in advantages that Florida has, Sully has underachieved.
Also, Florida is one of only 2 SEC baseball programs without a trackman system installed.

I've been wanting Kevin O'Sullivan to be LSU's coach for awhile now.

What's the other school?
I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say Missouri.

Alabama
ETA: For all his other failings as a baseball coach, Steve Bieser is very progressive when it comes to using new technology for developing players.
Still think Mizzou made a shitty hire and will regret not hiring Vitello while he kicks their arse on the field and on the recruiting trail every year.

nvm. I misread your post about UF. I thought you said one of two with trackman and it didn’t occur to me that Florida wouldn’t have it. My bad.

It's very surprising to me that they don't. Especially since I don't really think the school has much of an outlay for installation. I think MLB helps with that because it helps their scouts.
Alabama isn't as surprising, and I'm sure it's on the way there. But they had coaching turnover and a new ballpark and stuff that seems like this would fall through the cracks kind of.
Northwest Florida St and Chipola have them. It's a different deal for JUCOs than the SEC/ACC teams with it. The contract with the SEC makes the data available to all teams. For JUCOs a specific team can fund the installation and then only they have access to the data.
My amateur guess is that the Braves paid for the one at Chipola.
