So the defense was the reason LSU won 9 games last year.....but with a better defense, more experienced QB, and possibly a better o-line and running game there is NO WAY we win 9 this year.

You're stupid.

I think Arkansas will choke and lose 2 conference games, if not they'll go infront of us to SEC CHMP. Either way, I think they go infront of us, we get a BCS bowl and im predicting that it'll be against Ohio State or Boise State.

There's no way we are going to lose to NC or WVU. If we did lose to one of those teams, it would be NC, not WVU. Either way, we scheduled them for the exact reason we need them now. Over rated ACC teams = "quality" wins for an LSU team starting season 16+ ranked depending on polls.

I will say this, don't base your judgements of LSU's offense based off the way they play in the opener vs NC. Good or Bad, it won't be a predictor.

Based on the last two years, I agree, but if we don't have all of the pick sixes and we catch some brakes last year, we could be better.

Damn. If you think we would be that bad, how bad do see Miami being? We would roll Miami.

If we lose to both Alabama and Florida, I'll be pissed. We NEED to beat Ole Piss and Arky.

Auburn?

Just a prediction this time for the 5th or 6th time.

9/4 North Carolina W Les does not loose openers! They have a great defense but no offense and this is not the ACC it is the SEC.
9/11 at Vanderbilt W
9/18 Miss. State W
9/25 West Virginia W I believe they get to find out what the real Death Valley is like (This is not Kansas Any More!).
10/2 Tennessee W Dooley stays winless in Death Valley.
10/9 at Florida T/U If Fla looses to Bama the week before by a big score Fla. may not be that much of an opponant and find themselves questioning what is going on. I feel with a loss to Bama it will be a W!
10/16 McNeese St. W
10/23 at Auburn W After shelling them last year I believe we are way ahead of them 3 straight wins going to make it 4.
11/6 Alabama W This year our Offense is better than their Defense. I also say that we as fans have to do our share in helping TS be the best place where visiting teams to come to die!
11/13 UL-Monroe W
11/20 Ole Miss W They can have all the Masoli's they want it will not help them this year this is not 2008 or 2009 and no clock will come into play you can CLOCK-IT!
11/27 at Arkansas W We have the Defense to stop Mallet in their place.

12-0 I Say!

Last year's performance against UW, offensively and defensively, was a damn good indicator of things to come for the team. Why would this be any different?

I'll bite.

Which part? If its record then sure if its Miles being let go then naaaaa. I mean I was sure Crowton was gone this year and it didn't happen so I'm not confident enough with that. Plus we are talking upwards of 10 million.

But yea, give me 7-5 and anything worse and I'll take it.

I think Bama and Florida take a step back with their huge losses on defense. I'm nowhere near a beliver in Auburn, who is all hype. Ole Miss took a GIANT step backwards this offseason.

Arkansas, WVU, and UNC are all dangerous, but none are unbeatable juggernauts. I do think it's more likely we lose to Arkansas than the OOC games.

I compare us to Nebraska. We both had top 20 defenses last year, but I think theirs got slightly worse while I think ours is going to be even better. Both of us have experienced QB's who have put up good not great numbers, both of us had offenses ranked near 100 in the country, and both of us lost 3 conference games last year. If you believe in one, you should reasonably believe in the other, as they look like remarkably similar teams right now.

Mine is easy: We win every game except v. Florida in the Swamp, then beat them in Atlanta. Then, we beat Boise State by 40 in the NC game. Sorry to be so negative about Florida, but they've reloaded and are very good at home.

Explain that one to me. I dont get how a team we have betean the last 3 times we have played and absolutely destroyed last year is going to beat us this year. yes its very hard to win on the plains and we only did it once last decade, but arguably one of our weakest teams of the decade pulled off the thing. I dont see how a bunch of freshman adding depth to Auburns squad and a QB who is very comparble to Kodi Burns(granted I think hes probly alittle better), are going to be able to turn around and beat us this year.

8-4, the offense will be much of the same this year, little or no output. The defense will keep us in the games, I don't think that we will get blown out this year, but with no offense the scores are going to look more like baseball games, one more prediction, after we go 8-4 in the regular season and lose at the Chic-fil-at bowl, Miles and Crowten are gone.

I agree with all that.

I say 13-1 national champs. Lose at Florida then beat the cocks in hotlanta and defeat Nebraska in Glendale
