Not really, college football is a roller coaster and eventually all great teams start to come down. Everyone expects this ride of LSU football to start to decline one day because you will never see another Nebraska like run of from 69 to 2001

Hate to disagree, but just about everyone knew bama and florida would be down. Auburn came out of no where and so did ole miss sucking as bad as they did. i was optimistic about wva and NC, NC being the wild card because we had WVA at home.

I felt 11-1, 10-2. 9-3 at the worst. Besides is just feels better to think positive.

And LSU had
North Carolina (Prior to Suspension) and West Virginia

People assumed Arkansas and Mississippi State would be better
No one knew what Masoli would do at Ole Miss
Florida/Alabama being down they are still as talented as LSU
LSU had 3 gimme games coming into the season Vanderbilt and the Louisiana schools

You may have thought one way, does not mean other people did as well.

I had us losing to Florida, Auburn and Arkansas during the regular season. I had us beating A&M 27-24, although honestly, I wasn't terribly confident about us winning.

lol, hahhaha... Sure and they were wayyy off about our team this year. Thats the point my freind, it was disgusting to have to hear these arguments prior to the season, I was on the we (LSU) were going to be good school of thought as were others and we were right...

Eat crow fake fans, we are 11-2 this season and it feels good....

Scary that we still only lost to Auburn by 7 and Arky by 8 both on the road with a chance to win each of them.... So close...

Explain that one to me. I dont get how a team we have betean the last 3 times we have played and absolutely destroyed last year is going to beat us this year. yes its very hard to win on the plains and we only did it once last decade, but arguably one of our weakest teams of the decade pulled off the thing.

$$$$

oh..and the kicker

quote:

I dont see how a bunch of freshman adding depth to Auburns squad and a QB who is very comparble to Kodi Burns(granted I think hes probly alittle better), are going to be able to turn around and beat us this year.
