This was my first game. Daddy got me tix for getting straight A's on my report card when I was in 4th grade.

He took me to Ruth Chris for dinner. I tried sautéed mushrooms and have loved them ever since.

We sat in the upper deck 2nd row from the top. It rained underneath us at one point. The wind and rain was crazy. My Dad asked if I wanted to leave, but I said no and he was fine staying till the end.

He got me one of those medium sized LSU footballs. This game is my favorite memory of all time.

I was 9 y/o and still remember it. Think my sister spilled nachos all over and was crying, we were all soaking wet from the monsoon.

I was a student at LSU at the time. We had several kegs iced down waiting for us back at our apartment in Plantation Trace. The game was so bad, we decided to leave the game at half-time and commence drinking!

That was a monsoon, the biggest rainstorm I ever saw in Tiger Stadium.. I remember the orange pylons flying around the field like handkerchiefs. The score was a blowout but it was a close game even late in the third quarter.

As Irecall, Miami didn’t have that many total yards on offense given the high score.

Bunch of turnovers that led to TDs.

i was there. i remember miami's opening kickoff went clear through the goalpost at the other end of the field and the LSU scoreboard which could only fit a few words on it just said

wow

that was the beginning of a very long miserable night.

i remember leaving the game and 2 smoking hot miami coeds were walking/skipping behind me and clapping "its great" (clap) 'to be' (clap) 'a miami hurricane' (clap clap)

i wasn't even mad.

I was a soph.

I was dog sick that week leading up to it, had the flu or something. But, I was determined to be there to watch that epic tilt.

Except we got bludgeoned. And I got sicker. Cold, windy, wet and battling the flu while watching Steve Walsh act like the weather was perfect for passing.

I was there. Freshman year for me. Stayed the whole game with no umbrella and no poncho. 17-year-old me didn't even have a sniffle the next day. Current-day me would have probably died the next day.

I was there...girlfriend and I got in a big fight and left before half...went back to my apt and had some excellent make-up sex. I got up to go to the bathroom and turned on the game to see the final score...GF heard the TV and got all pissed again. She went home, I went back to bed. Overall, not a good night but don’t care had sex.

Exactly Glassman! I don't think I've ever seen a QB standing still for what seemed like minutes until someone broke free. It was like watching a pro team play a college team. Worst arss whipping I've witnessed between two good teams.

I listened to the game on the radio, while camping. Much whiskey was consumed around the fire as the Tigers’ fortunes worsened. We crawled into our tent about 30 minutes before the storm reached our location.
